this is one of the goofs i have noticed in friends...

1. Rarely though, some women do hav noticeable adams apple. So joey might hav saying the truth. But also others wouldnt have been aware of this fact. Anywys this is minor fault.

2.This is the contradicting one. In a much later episode, joey does not know it is called an adams apple. I remmber the line as " it hurts my joey's apple" and then chandler corrects him "fer the last time".

Another one is that boys were always called boys, and girls were called girls. But back in like the 15th century, boys as we call them today were called knave girls, whilst girls today were known as gay girls. Google it. So a 'girl' back then was basically the modern word 'child. The term 'boy', back then, was used only for servants. But now things have changed.
