not to be a dick but to be honest, snowskates are alot better compaired to skateboarding. look at it this way, you can ride anything aslong as there is snow, you are not limited to trucks an wheels so you can do more impressive stuff like 360s to kickflip off, its also cheaper then a snowboard an is better for the kids who wants to skate in winter. but i still like my snowboard more an skateboarding is a very major sport that has alot of history.

@Jon95McC To cover boxes? You're better of using a slippery surface like melamine or plastic. Plywood sticks sometimes and makes it impossible to boardslide etc.

@DukeofDice Yes you can turn very well. We ride down mountains, but it takes practice. Also you need a bit of snow, because if you're on hardpack riding down the resort, turns will be quite a hard task. Some fresh snow makes it the funnest experience ever.

But the first reason i responded, is because someone from ambition is saying santa cruz is crap. @CameronSkatess It's harder in some ways but easier in others. You need a few sessions to get used to the stability/speed/control but once you've got that down you'll be doing stuff you had never thought of on a skateboard. Take a few sessions to learn how to ride and then you're set, providing you have a good snowskate.
