actually i do ride,i currently have a gsxr1000k8, before that i had an m109r cruiser which is why i don't like cruisers,

the m109 is a lot quicker than harleys,even quicker than the vrod,but i still grew to dislike it even though it did everything better than a harley,like all cruisers they weigh more than a truck,don't go round corners without leaving a groove in the road,don't stop very quickly,gearboxes are straight from a tractor and take half an hour to do a standing quarter.

I heard the m109r had a real bad first gear clunk. Now i hear that yamaha raider has bad lifters google it. This is my first Harley it's been a good bike. almost 20,000 all it needed so far was a 02 senser, tires, brake pads.

harley use belts on all models,i build customs and for the customers it personal preference,i like the belts as they are very strong and clean and quiet,chains tend to stretch a lot from new and can cause hassles with a close fitting fender,but some people dont trust the belts,i know drag racers that use belts and have had no problems under harsh conditions,cheers!
