The traxxas rustler is 1/10 scale and the mamba motor is 1/8 scale. Does it fit and does it require 2 batteries or is that just for extra power?

If you want to zip tie the suspension and add some weight fine but really you are overdoing it.

i got the inetgy gear box and the 6 holes at the bottom that screw the gear box down only 4 line up the last 2 small holes dont line up do it if those to littel screws are in there or not?its tight no movement of the gear box at all so what you think do they matter?

well i think you should buy a 6s lipo. I think that will make it fly..3s on a mamba is kinda a waste esp with a low kv on the motor. Hence the rustler comes with a 3500kv to start. Its all about RPMs not power. Go for 6s lipo on that if you want to talk about speed. Oh u should have got the 2650kv system they sell not the 2200kv.

the best differential gearbox is from Fastlane Machine. it is sealed and oil tunable

you can use very heavy oil and make it like it is locked without the risk of breakage from spooling it, and it still allows you to turn around sharply and adds a ton of straightline stability

@mattio79 fastlanes gear box is great if i wanted to use the vxl motor. but the mamba monster motor cant fit that gear box. trust me i wanted that gear box when i started

@giostealthr1 not the transmission case. the differential case that goes inside the transmission case that is what hoks up to the drive axles. the stock VXL-ready differential case is plastic with a metal gear ring. the FLM diff case is all aluminum. besides, to make the mamba monster fit in the flm transmission case, all you have to do is take the motor guard off. 2 screws that have nothing to do with keeping the transmission together.

I wasn't trying to make it sound as thought I'm trying to break 100mph. I guess it did read that way. No man I'm a racer/basher and have my rustler buggy conversion running the 3800 castle combo, top speed with 19/50 32p gearing was 60.2mph on 3s running hard spike's on asphalt. I was just messing around in the parking lot of the track. My slash 4x4 on the other hand does well above 70 on 4s. I want to see your rusty run man. Link me a video.

MaxAmp's are not even close to all the hype about them. I run just as fast with my gensAce and ThunderPower lipo's. Are you having problem's with the Integy front bulkhead? Or the "Piggyback" shock's? How low do you have this sitting down?

No problems with the bulk head. the integy shocks suck. i use them as a stiff shock. there is fuel lining in the shock for it not to move. as for how low. ( you can fit a lighter ) PS you break 100?
