A lot less puck on a string like physics (though there still are some with deking and slapshots) and we're at a point where the skill stick needs to mandatory for all hockey games. Of course NHL 11 has its problems but after playing both it's not even close. NHL 11 and FIFA 11 are the two best sport games on the market today along with MLB the Show. NHL 2k was right to take a year long hiatus.

NHL 2k10 only has Randy and Drew; and Winter Classic. Other than that, NHL 11 is so far superior.

The goal at 5:40, the one at 7:13, and the ways the goalies reacted looked a lot more realistic that anything EA has to offer so far. Also, at 6:43, the way Thomas saved those shots looked pretty damn realistic too, same for (lol another one) the way Carter got tripped at 6:45 was also realistic (accept for the no-call). The speed - the way the players skate - is so much more realistic than EA's games, including the hitting. The players who can and can't hit in real life are the same in 2K.

@csMETALfest Well, the reason why 2K11 is a Wii exclusive is because they didn't make enough, or more money that EA against NHL 10. It doesn't mean it was a worse, or bad game. EA has better marketing and better graphics. Too things that can really grab more people to buy their games. Also, the majority of EA users (as my self at one time) just assume 2K is worse because that's what they hear. One "rumour" turns into millions...

I used to prefer and bash 2K, but now after I watched some videos, and actually played the game (fyi I am referring to which game can provide more of a simulation hockey game) I realized that 2K is the winner. I also play and watch excessive amounts of hockey, so I am no novice at hockey either. In 2K10 they have what you would call Sliders, bars that allow on to tamper with them to make.....

For example; puck speed, they don't have that in EA. I can't think of anymore right now, but they're plenty TRUST ME.
