I have had the pleasure to meet Iraqi Kurds during university studies and they were some of the nicest, most well mannered Muslims and people I have met in my entire life. I hold them as close to my heart as I hold the Turks. They inhabited those lands even before you, our Turkish brethren, came there, and you should respect them and they you. Kurds are Muslims, Serbs are not. Serbs have committed a genocide against Muslims only 15 years ago, Kurds have not. How can there even be a comparison?

The Ottoman empire we love to remember was from the Danube to the Tigris to the Nile and beyond, not the remains you live in now and try to protect.
