  • An advertisement. Thanks...not.

  • Do you really need a swim cap to use this device?

  • @eofficer You don't need a swim cap, but goggles are helpful.

  • @eofficer if you don't use swim cap and you try to swim crazy, they will fall off. If you want to be able to swim with 100% of your power. The turbulence you can create underwater will be too much for the plugs. Plus without swimcap you will get cold easily while swimming since you lose much of your body head at that spot, you won't last long enough to enjoy swimming with the ipod

  • @Bagsy84 My auntie and I both have this set and hers still works while both my earplugs dont work...I was allways wondering how as she has had hers longer but she wears a swimming cap..I am looking at getting the newer version for the 3rd gen ipod shuffle but I dont wear a swimming cap and its putting me off now. Thanks for the heads up!!

  • @Bagsy84 A swim cap isn't needed, however you may want to also check out our pro fit kit that has 9 different types of ear plugs, so you can find the one that creates the best waterproof seal for your ear.
