I personally like them, the simple yet nice looks of them is something not always seen in today's toys. That and the fact that despite it being simple and yet cool transformations, I don't think they would need a overly complicated transformation. Would really take away from the toys then which are clearly designed for play value.

@EVAUnit4A Seriously? You want them to dumb down and simplify the transformations.... Hasbro makes quite a few Transformers aimed at 4-7 year olds try those out....

If I didn't like simplified transformers I wouldn't have gotten Piranacon, for one. And compared to Transformers(c), Super Sentai mecha are simplified, yet I spend a lot more on them. Despite no leg articulation, I like these two!

It all depends on execution of the toy- designs of all modes, coloring, features and gimmicks, etc.

The bus was my very first transforming toy and I still have it on display on my desk! He still is pretty awesome.
