I thought this was the best version of this song I've ever heard, and one of the best performances in Idol history. Just my opinion! She NAILED this song!

you people who are knocking her calm down. This girl can sing anything thrown at her. She has one of the top three best careers of Idol winners for sure, and is doing a LOT more than the likes of any of these other "amazing" singers who lost to her.
Imo, very, very good, but the 1st half was very controlled, but by the mid mark, she loosened up and had fun with it, and her notes got more impressive!!!!

He's so fickle in what he says. Blake is good and different, but he never deserved to go as far as he did. The top 3 should have been Lakisha, Melinda and Jordin.

Lakisha/Melinda final would have been the better combo, and Melinda (probably the best singer they've ever had on AI) should have ran away with it. Unfortunately, the American people vote on who they like, not who is the better singer. As for life experience, no one has the ability to look into anyone else's life and determine the quality of their life experiences. She has, as Randy put it, some of the most unbelievable natural talent!

Randy needed to clean his ears out. When she went up that octave and did her funky vocals it was amazing and I was "Go gir!" when this was originally aired.

um.. people who think she shouldnt have won need to pay a little more attention.. she was probably one of the best singers on the show.. there were a few who were great who i think should have stayed on longer, but seriously. when it came down to jordin and blake, we all knew jordin would win. after all "it's a singing competition."

I still love the way she sings "I who have nothing," but this one was my second favorite. She gives me cold chills when I hear her sing. She's so amazing, I hope to be as successful as her someday. She's amazing and gorgeous all in one, and she's only seventeen!
