  • ARIZONA BIKES......NICEEE

  • Does it got a Reverse gear???

  • You guys do some fucking awesome work.

  • cool a slideshow

  • i would definitively like to give one of those a test drive. lol

  • Music?

  • lol i want one

  • GENIAL

  • simple.. use a negative rear traction (instead of a positive)

or the sprocket is in one wheel (one rear traction)

  • nice

  • does the front tires angle when it turnsmake the tread wear away fast

  • @supermultiace27 It may look that way but it doesn't wear the tread away any faster than a regular bike. In fact, we end up replacing the back tires long before we have to replace the front. ☺ ~Lane

  • I can't quite fathom that thing... Does it have 0 trail or an ass load?

  • @buzzkillor Tracks like a champ! You can take your hands of the handle bars or steer one handed.

  • cool

  • Jump it! Jump it!

    *snap*

  • @Airsoft109z In the 40 some odd years our family has been building these, we have yet to snap a frame. ☺

  • @ptwlane Cool! ☺:D

  • @ptwlane but have jumped it

  • That looks like a smooth ride. Looks nice.

  • I am surprised at the turning circle. I thought it would have the turning circle of a truck!

  • LOL

  • wathe? can you send those basass things to sweden??? 0.o

  • this is the best.

Wait! since it's so big, does it have a reverse gear?

  • @abeismain YES! ☺

  • that thing looks pretty killer, you guys should make a mattel big wheel version for lil kids, dont know that their feet would reach the pedals with it all raked out like that though, lol

  • looks fucking awsome as hell man :o

  • best lookin VW based trikes i've ever seen. and love all the idiots and their comment... front end gonna break off that easy? i think not guarantee it has at least twice the strength of a stock bike. but people have no clue how strong metal truly is. as far as not being a "man's bike" sounds like someone has penis envy lol.

great work guys can't wait to see more from ya in the future.

  • tokarrrrrrrrr

  • I'm not ready for a trike yet but I'm glad to know the future looks brite!

  • Oh yeah, bad ass trikes guys!

  • One of the best lookin trikes ive seen on here.

  • My wife would love one of these, she does not want to ride a motorcycle at all, but would ride a PTW! Sweet man great work! I would not mind riding it either! Looks like a blast!

  • waw i like

  • ale wieprz

  • @jacobs200012 mmmmmmmmm ride motorcycle like a man. give for what it is, nice rides and good thinkng into those trikes. oh before i got paralized i was riding 2 wheels over over 20 years like a man. and guess what still riding a trike like a man hey and dont knock the handicap stalls we know you able body people like them for the leg room Just saying

  • @jacobs200012 Before you knock our trikes, come and ride one. Anyone who compares riding a bike to being a man doesn't know what being a man is all about.

Your crack about handicap stalls shows you have no class.

  • @ptwlane oh SHIT he just called you out, but seriously i like trikes, i wish i could see someone making one for snow, i HATE not taking my motorcycle in the snow, i already know of the outcome if i do take it out lol

  • @ptwlane Sad comment's from a sad boy who thinks he'e a man,you summed it up well, he hasn't got a clue. Jacob is a srange name for an idiot..

  • @jacobs200012 So you probably have never driven a truck or car. They must just make those for the handicapped to. Get real,,,,,,,,,,,,Different strokes for different folks.

  • @jacobs200012 I been riding bikes and choppers for over 40 years and trikes are just another way to go. The slam about manhood is just you showin how little you got.

How many "real bikes" have you built Mr. Man? You even know how to run a welder or fab a frame? Those of us who can, know that anyone who can build a bike or trike from scratch has earned more manhood than you are displaying kid.

  • At first i was like, what the fuck???? Now im more like shiiiitttt thats sick!

  • Is that in Arizona

  • This is badass!!!

    I want one.

Too bad you're not in Connecticut

  • @china1013 Not yet... But we can ship to Connecticut!!! Each trike we build can be licenced in all 50 states as a motorcycle with its own VIN.

  • It's a very cool Volkswagen love it

  • @salamalycoom You should see our Porsche and V-twins!

  • ENDO THAT BITCH HAHAHAHA!!

  • DO WHEELIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the turning radius is great....

  • put one fly on the front wheel- it breakes

  • bad ass dude!

  • Maybe when I'm ready for the Wrinkle Ranch I'll go to 3 wheels.

  • Is this machine legal in Canada?

  • It would be funny if this was front wheel drive

  • I can just imagine the horrible understeer if you try and turn with some speed

  • looks cool, but very low ride height, can't be used in India :D

  • ahhh i miss the phoenix/mesa area! nice trike, loved the scenery!

  • nice. just not really suitable for my road conditions. i live in alaska, so i think the upright would be safer.

  • AMERICA haha

  • a narrow roundabout in the UK ud be stuck lol, like the length of a fuckin truck! awesome tho

  • Awesome

  • Comment removed

  • in UK it is not allowed to drive a tri bike without a helmet...

  • @slazzer145 there's alotta things that the UK doesn't allow, its like they're law crazy...worst place to live

  • Flat black and a complimentary metal ski mask. All your Road Warrior dreams can come true.

  • ...SWEEEETTTT!!!!!!!So....who at the shop has had the balls to take that badboy to the topend, and what was it....looks stable enough to really push the limits of the motor with no problems, and oh ya did I say SWEEEEETTTT!!!!!

  • My god, that thing's almost 2/3 of a car!

  • want. how much

  • Kits start at $7499

  • how much gound clearance do you have in a full turn compared to straight driving?

  • How many states are these legal in?

  • All 50 states! We have a federal manufacturers license so all the trikes we produce can ce registered as motorcycles, even Hawaii braddah!

  • That is a truly sweet trike!

  • Thanks for show! Awesome trikes!

  • that thing is sick but looks kinda weak or it would snap

  • We have never snapped a frame in the 40+ years we have been building them, If you want to see more info about how well made our trikes are check out our informational video titled " Phoenix Trike Works PTW TRIKES ROCK!!!"

    Thanks for commenting!

  • very smooth...

  • ''excellent''

  • huge

  • Great! Fantastic! WOW... :-)

  • badass!

  • name of song PLZ

  • are you ready creed

  • Creed - Are You Ready

  • dude have you ever got sude?

ssome people probobly brake thare necs trying to look back at it

  • BEAUTIFUL trike. a real head turner and one of a kind...

    Congrates

  • im buyin one.. hold on

  • Beautiful, 'n' I must say impressive turning considering the rake.

    Nicely done my friend.

  • bit fuked if u have to creap out of a junction to see if anythings coming ide say it would be shortened very quikly

  • Sorry Bro but your line of thinking is OFF.

Let me ask you, how do you "creep" out of a junction (intersection) in a CAR or TRUCK with the engine and bumpers and everything in front?

  • your roads are probably different in america i geuss thats were you are. but in england say if we had a t junction and u were coming out of it there could be parked cars either side so you wouldnt be able to see if any cars were coming so you have to creep or emerge out of the junction untill you can see whats coming.

  • COOL!!

  • Comment removed

  • Cool trike, big ups!

  • probs a little bit 2 long but still fckin cool

  • do they have a reverse gear?

  • sick trike

  • I really like the low center of gravity and that seat looks comfortable as hell. Bet it's a nice cruiser for long rides!

  • wow......nice....

  • cool

  • this machine is so rad and well built

  • Yeah lets see how fast it turns at 45mph... Tank slap would be a bitch...lol The SUI-TRIKE!

  • Impressive turn radius, surprised me.

  • HOLY FUCK!

  • il a l aire maniable

  • A guy on a chopper trike nearby died merging onto I71S from 70E in Columbus a few years ago. The front tire hit a slick spot and he lost control.

  • Damn those slick spots! They kill everyone! Bikes, Trikes, Cars and TRUCKS!

  • awesome id pay 40k for this (but dont raise rpcie cuase i said so lol!) only prob is im not over there!

are you aloud to ride trikes on the road in califronia?

  • YES! You are allowed to ride trkes in California. All of our trikes can be licensed in all 50 states as motorcycles.

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wicked I want one!!..too much tho...

  • awsome!

  • well can I just give you my 2nd born child for it instead 30g's??lol

  • LOL!!!!!!!!

  • what happens when you take you hands off the bars at speed, or even low speed?

  • As long as you are going 15 miles an hour or more the trikes will track straight if you take your hands off the bars. The faster you go the better it tracks. THAT RAKE SERVES A PURPOSE!!! ;D

    Be Safe on the Roads!

  • This turns a heck of alot better than my old Ford F-250 extended cab long bed I used to have. Looks alot more fun too.

  • hard for sharp turns

  • It handles TONS better than a conventional trike in sharp turns. NO "trike tip" with its low center of gravity. We have NEVER in the 40 years of making these even lifted one of the back tires taking sharp turns.

The extra width on the back does take some getting used to though if you are accustomed to riding a bike.

  • awesome! too large for european streets but fantastic!

  • dupa

  • that was really COOL ~ 1

  • awsome trike a real mix between chopper and car based engine trike

  • i was expecting the front tire to slip, but it grabbed nicely on those sharp turns at a higher speed

  • umm i bet that turns horribly

  • hmm. If it was electric, i might consider this worth looking at.

  • They sell rolling frames... An electric trike would be a fun project. :-)

  • that thing kicks ASS

  • :o nice trike :o

THat song is in gran turismo 1 for ps1 huh?

  • nice dude

  • that was sweet! engine?

isn´t it dangerous taking curves on the road?

  • Nope, almost impossible to flip because of its low stance and the geometry of the fork.

  • The front fork is a little too short. Another 8 feet would have been good! LOL

  • lol

  • cool man, I'm making one myself. they are so cool and relaxing.keep up the cool work man.

  • sweet trike my dad has one he putting it back together

  • How tall is a REAL speed bump? These Trikes as much clearance as most street bikes.

  • Ah a great place.

these things are at the very least $10,000 dollars (US) made out of a care I can buy and cut up for $500 myself.

now if it were, $5,000, for just the basic model, without the custom rims and without the $3,000 paint job, I'd think it over, but I highly doubt it.

  • You clear it! Don't believe me? Come by the shop and take one out for a ride! You will love it! :D

  • I'm in north Carolina man.

Anyway as I said. We're talking more then $10,000 for one of these arn't we?

  • More like $30,000 for a stock VW one. Less than the cost for most new cars, and way cooler.

  • Something made using half the the materials, 1/4 the mettle, next to no safety futures, that will triple my auto insurance, "starts" at $30,000 and can't even handle 'real' speed bumps. Um no.

If I'm going to buy something that will likely leave me splattered on the sidewalk if I'm hit, I'm not shelling out $30,000 for it. The parts, equipment and classes on how to build something like that all together wouldn't even cost as much as the starting price. If I want it bad enough, I'll do it myself.

  • It is essentially a three wheeled motorcycle, so no there are not much for safety features, more than a motorcycle, but if you want to drive a car, drive a car, we are talking about trikes. My old one VW home built (motorcycle forks, Uncle M welded the frame, etc...) was a hell of alot of fun, didn't cost as much as my car on the insurance. The only issue for me is price. And until later in the fall/winter & I go test drive one and meet the guys, will keep home building. Still think they're nice

  • Oh I agree with you 100%. I like the look of this bad boy, I love the lines on it, heck I even like the color. My issue is with the pice lol

    $30,000 is just plane unreasonable.

  • Thanks for the compliments! Everything we make has been custom from the ground up, Hence the price tag... Ask Jim Nasi how much a custom bike would cost and all of a sudden $30K won't sound so bad! Hahaha!

Anyways, We will be unveiling our first production trike in the FALL!

    ~Lane

  • Indeed, and while at this moment a bit out of my price range) have you guys priced a new Harley or any other custom bike (2-3 wheeled, or) even cars lately a new one non-custom is not cheep (and don't look or handle anywhere near as good). If you want something nice you have to pay for it. If you can't wait till you can or get something else.

  • This is about the same length as a VW bug. Dont let the nice lines fool you! Only 13 feet! A shorter wheel base just makes it wheelie prone like most trikes. The suspension is adjustable for higher ground clearance.

  • I guess I have to put the speed bump footage on here for all you non-believers!

  • Exactly lol

It just bounces to much then he drives it, even on level ground it's bouncing.

I'm thinking "Snap!" there goes $10,000, at the very least. Sorry, not for me.

But it dose look good. I'll give him that.

  • We have never snapped the front end in 40 years. What you think is bouncing is the springer front end doing its job. The suspension works great! You can cruise at 110 mph one-handed on this thing and its smooth as glass. Like to see someone try that on a bike!

  • my 2006 harley sportster is smooth at 115 one handed, handles great at 65 standing up without hands, with throttle lock on

  • I think we both know the answer to that lol

  • pero donde vas sin moto muchaaaaaaaachooo!!!!! k wapa je je je disfrutala mientras puedassss !!!!

  • DAYUM! That's one extreme MACHINE!

    NICE!

  • Actually we build trikes for disabled people but our standard trikes out perform most bikes especially when it comes to working the corners and stability at high speed! You haven't kived til you've done 120 mph one handed!

  • It looks like a handicap's wheels.

  • hey i have some ideas on how to better your design for the trike

  • Hw much do one of them cost? John (UK)

  • Our "Standard" turnkey starts at #$24,957.00 which includes your choice of custom cut PTW forks, matching handlebars, upholstery, chrome 21" front wheel, 15x10 rear wheels etc with a 1641cc air-cooled 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission with reverse. Custom work goes up from here!

For all the details visit our website!

    ~Lane

  • More important than the price... can it wheelie

  • Yes it can wheelie if you goose it and dump the clutch. But it is not wheelie prone like most trikes because of how the weight is distributed. It puts the power to the ground where it should be! This is one of the reasons our trikes handle so much better than others.

I'll see about filming a wheelie!

    ~Lane

  • Wheelie or not it is a beautiful machine ;)

  • Your Red Standard is worth 24-no question. I was wondering how much the hella tight Blue Bullet in the vid costs as is?

  • The Blue Bullet is actually up for sale. Joe will probably let it go for about 42K. After trophying at Stugis with TROUBLED WATERS I think he wants to build himself a Porsche 911 powered one like it. See our myspace page for pics of it! ~Lane
