Waw, your parents are Romanian ! I'm from Romania and I was thinking of moving to Israel for a couple of years actually, although I'm an orthodox ...I know it might sound very weird, but it's like I can hear a calling and see all these sings that seem to lead me on this path. But, at the end of the day, how can one really know when it's actually destiny taking you somewhere or you wanting to see the destiny in your decision?
Good luck to you Ronennachman in your quest to move back to Israel. I too have been waiting until my kids are grown, first to convert and then to make aliyah. I have been waiting 12 years, the kids are 19 and 18 now, and I'm only waiting for a miracle to afford moving to a Jewish community to convert. I dont know how it will happen, but I pray every day and I know hashem will help. I've learned Judaism every day for the past 12 years online through Chabad and other Orthodox organizations.
They deserve our love and respect, I'm fascinated with Jewish culture and history, I get very frustrated trying to learn the language though. Israel is going to get a lot bigger land grant from G-d if Iran tries to mess with His chosen people, G-d takes the covenant VERY SERIOUSLY!
@camelhawk many people, who know what is going on, are angry with Israel and the zionist movement. People's views on the war, especially in America are very skewed becuase of the Media and America's support of what Israel is doing to Palestine, which is colonizing, controlling, and enslaving innocent people. Many people blame Jews because many Jews are in control of the USmedia which skews people's views into supporting America and Israel--this however is wrong and deceptive. Truth in the bible.
Funny how I`ve been restless all my life, because my heart has always been in Israel and with the Jewish people. And even when all the odds are against me I know every single hardship will be worth it. :)
If you dressed like an orthodox Jew and were subject to the same antisemitism I am on an almost weekly basis, you wouldn't judge me so much.
Life for the orthodox Jew is harsh here. We get yelled at in the subway stations and absued on the streets. In Crown Heights were my 5 and 4 year old girls are growing up there is weekly crime.
I'm glad your life here is pleasant and fun - but please try to understand where I am coming from. Once the Jew stops trying to look like non-Jews...cont
the true emotions of the non-Jews come out and we discover just how much they hate us because we look different and talk different and still don't believe in J-s-s and that we killed J-s-s.
It's not easy being openly Jewish friend. And I've heard this remark from people of same sexual orientation, but my response is that when you look at me, you have no doubt I am a Jew. A man who desires to sleep with men instead of women, doesn't have that tatooed on his forehead.
I have two daughters here and I'm not ready to leave them. Maybe when they come of age or when my wife remarries.
Until then - or until messiah comes - I'm stuck with the antisemities.
But I make the most of it. And I am very honest with them. I know how to defend myself. I wasn't born into a religious family...
It's a great suggestion, though for any Jew that can do it. It's an amazing mitzvah to live in the land of Israel. It's the holiest place on earth and G-d's chosen land.
Honored to know yoyr parents come from Roumania! Rest in peace my brother!

Listen to videos from Walid Shoebat, he used to hate Jewish people, now he loves them and tells the truth about muslims.

Why do people have to be mean to Jews?
