What particular trap are we talking about: the one where he attacked his master in the middle of a warzone, or the one where his second-in-command captured the Ebon Hawk?

The first one doesn't really count as a trap, and he wasn't even present for the second, so all Malak has on his side is a cool voice, which doesn't count for much.

Plus, without the Star Forge backing him up, he's nothing special in the way of skills.

There's one cutsecene. When you go evil with Revan in the game, he becomes evil. Though you are right, there are almost no cutscenes of Revan being evil.

Not to be too negative, but Malek seems to be a bit static in this music video- and more to the point, the imagery doesn't really match the lyrics, but that's just my opinion.

If you wanted a wider source of visuals that might work better with the lyrics, you might want to try using all of the Sith portrayed in the KOTOR series- Revan, Malak, Sion, Nihilus, Traya, the lot.

That is true, but there is really only 1 cutscene of revan in the game. If Runemover had done the same scene with reven OVER AND OVER AND OVER, the movie would just get monotonous. Hope you all know what that means, but it means the same thing as 'the movie would get really boring.
