I'll be honest, most of the shows like Dexter's Lab when I was little, I didn't understand the sex jokes and little gags for the adults. Most of the stuff on the cartoons was not meant for kids, but kids watched them, its the same with Regular Show. Kids will like it even though they don't get every joke.

Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Samurai Jack, Ed Edd n Eddy, Billy and Mandy and Foster's Home still belong to us, but Adventure Time Regular Show Generator Rex & Super Secret Fort Awesome belong to our kids due to them have a different humour from us. I used to think Ben 10 was to blame, but I now see it's both the end and the start.

although cartoon network doesn't like this, more of the same people still watch it, why the humor grew over the years. from double d saying lord to the racist jokes on billy and mandy, and the sexual references on adventure time. cartoon network just makes bad choices , they want to appeal to kids , and it always comes back to appealing to us, then they just take away more stuff. it never really works out .

However I really like them, more so than modern cartoons but I do think that with the good shows like Adventure time, Regular show, The Loony Tunes Show, and others cartoon network may manage to spark that same interest as the golden years of Cartoon network, God willing.
