Sad to think...that mainly "white" boxers were often put to sleep while pups and probably via some rather harsh methods, because of breed standards. I have a pup now at almost 3 months...can't tell if he is truely deaf or not..think he is so headstrong...but..he IS my best friend and is mainly white, with the brown eye patch. Regardless of color...Boxers are AWESOME dogs...and I think when the MAN above though of man's best friend..Boxers were tops on his list!!
