Unions and government absolutely do need reform, unions need to be given their teeth back, and people need to feel once again like they ARE their union, and not like their union is just some thing they can send a tenner to however often and expect it to do all the work.

It doesn't mean all their current decisions are good, just and fair. It would be nice though, whenever a group/"type" of people does X amount of incredibly good deeds they are trustworthy forever.

Unions should never be involved in any kind of business venture in their current form. and if you guys havnt figured it out yet, the union 'heavies' are actually the biggest capitalists out there. They are actually ultimately responsible for unemployment, like now. They push wages and business so much, that the economy ends up in tatters, then everybodys unemployed.

@Will224000 Labor Day, 40 hour work week, decent wages (used to be) were all union contributions. Also right to strike without the ARMY busting your head, etc. So, yeah you are right. There are a lot of idiots in this country. U.S. has very high functional illiteracy rate among high school grads. About 70 percent of the population have only a high school education which is a dumbed down experience.
