  • And i read over these comments of how bush screwed things up. How is that possible? This crash was caused by to little regulation on the banks. Bush pushed for more regulation, which was deregulated in the Clinton administration and the Dems. blocked that, so how is that his fault. Oh, and BTW Obama still hasnt passed bank regulation.

  • AN UR AN ASSHOLE

  • "yes we can" is the Mexican National Soccer Team motto. "SI Se Puede" for years. The Motto derives from Latin Communist Gorilla Fighters from Mexico, Central America and South America.

  • LOL. There was a REVOLUTION in 1917 in Russia.

Ask the Zar-family if they thought it was a slow progression.

Wait ..you can't cos they were killed.

The only one killing anyone in America is McBush - over 4000 soldiers and 10s of 1000 of Iraqis.

Go ahead with McCain - I am sure he will push the button when he gets angry..

  • Yeah. When did the revolution begin? not 1917 that is when the government was overthrown but actually 1905 when the people demanded civil rights. And guess what. Slowly the Marxists took over and gained power and that led to the Communist Soviet Union. It was slow the real revolution started in 1905. It took 12 years for them to kill the Tsar and they PROGRESSED into communism.

  • Also was used by Caesar Chavez to organize and fight for rights.

  • Why, when someone actually wants to do something positive for the people of this country, they get called a communist?

The Bush administration has overstepped government power by so much that even moderates are taking notice.

    And we're pissed.

If you feel that our government is serving us the way it should, then vote for more of the same.

I feel that we can do a whole lot better.

And if our president can be eloquent enough to get a few people off their ass to try to make a difference, great!

  • John McCain 2008!

  • great video!!

  • Was that supposed to be clever?

Maybe you should learn how to spell before you make fun of someone.

    It makes you look dumb.

  • Dats right, he or she's so stupid...

  • This video was great! Very inspiring!

  • Great video!! Everybody get involved.. email the Obama Campaign and work in your neighborhood. We must go door to door and bring out everyone we possibly can.

The fate of the country and the world are in the balance.

Nothing is more important or more urgent than this election. Lets go, you are the one you have been waiting for!!!

  • Thank you!

  • This is amazing! awesome work VenicDred!

  • Yea it did cheer me up a little im just at the boiling point on this race they talk about how we will come together in the general election to defeat mcCain..nope dont see it,if they keep using these tactics to beat Obama...IM NOT Voting!!! I hate dirty politics and those who peddle them (Hillary) dont use them against me and then turn around and ask for my help..but thats how america is ran-dont stop poverty but use those impoversed to serve n iraq is just one example that comes to mind!! damn!

  • ms andrews how does not voting solve anything? the voting electorate is brutal. American idol gets better response for cryen out loud. if the dis-enfranchised wish to see things changed then they must turn out in unprecedented numbers and vote.

  • Hello VenicDred

  • Hello Dred

Congratulations on producing such a sensational and inspiring video. Can you please tell me which music has been used in the background. I would like to buy this music. Thanks for your help in this matter.

  • Hi, Dred.

We have attempted (with some success) to reduce the gap between the lowest and the highest. More needs to be done, but it needs to be recognized that it is not just a question of spending money. People have to embrace the things that will allow them to be self-sufficient in order to make lasting change. Personally, I see reducing the number of children in lower income families as the best place to start. This issue to too complicated to be discussed in this forum though.

  • Whoa! While I do agree with you about working to make people more self-sufficient, "reducing the number of lower income children" is an idea that is way too obtuse.

Of course population is a factor on resources, but you can't tell someone that because they don't have a certain amount of finances, they can't have children. (see communist China)

    Education my friend.

Education is the big battle ground, because an educated decision is a smart decision.

Big corporations don't necessarily want that.

  • VenicDred, I am afraid that if everyone wanted to be educated and make intelligent decisions about their lives, mankind would be much further along by now. Most folks think they are pretty smart and informed already. And most people don't want to delay gratification for a better future. Finally, most don't see that we all benefit or suffer from the actions of others. And they wouldn't care if they did.

And that is a product of human nature, not corporate manipulation, in my humble opinion.

  • You are absolutely right about human nature.

My point is that corporate control of information can be a bad thing.

A corporations sole interest is to turn a profit.

We are bombarded with (mis)information from these very corporations all the time.

Maybe I do have restless leg syndrome?

    Our media is unbalanced.

The more you dumb things down, the more susceptible you become to manipulation.

You know, "shopping will help keep our economy strong."

How long can we keep this up?

    Education = Thinking

  • Obama is the most recent version of polished operators produced by the corrupt political machine that is Chicago. Bravo! His speeches are written to completely conceal the fact that he doesn't say anything.

He is in favor of growth, charity, goodwill and unspecified good changes. Do you think he also supports happy childhoods, freshly baked cookies and flying kites on beautiful fall days?

  • Oh, I'm sorry, is it wrong to be positive?

Would you prefer a forecast of rain, poverty and no hope of a brighter future?

    What was I thinking?

    It's not possible I guess.

  • The desire to do right is commendable. The necessity to recognize that a happy ending is not possible for all more essential to change. Change requires a compromise between the parties involved with a shift in resource distribution. That is why the problems of nations are not solved already. There is no solution that does not require a sacrifice for some.

But you missed my point. Obama is a political creation crafted by a candidate machine that goes back to the Depression.

  • So are you talking about restoring the New Deal?

The way Obama talks, he reminds me of that.

I think a modern day New Deal would be good for the country.

We have to do something about all this deregulation.

  • It sounds to me like you're a "half empty" kind of guy. I know our Country can be better and I feel the only one still in the race that can do that is Obama. I am willing to give him a chance...are you?

  • Beautiful.

  • what are you talking about

  • Sorry, I disagree.

If you want Obama for 16 years, let's start with the first four.

After that, he can either continue or someone else can pick up the torch.

To assume that the opportunity will still be there in the future is ignoring the urgency of now.

We don't need all of the same faces that have been there since 1980.

These people are so inept that the U.S. dollar is now worth less than the Canadian dollar!

...among other things that would take me too long to list.

    Vote Obama! Vote Change!

  • Well said

  • OBAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 2008

  • if you want to change the global perception of america you have to vote for this man.

    OBAMA 08

    Im from the UK

  • inspirational! one of the best men of our times. GO OBAMA 2008!!!!!!!!

  • Wonderful combinations. You are an amazing person VenicDred

  • Thank you!

    You made my day!

  • Good stuff!!

  • Hey, we have to start somewhere.

His speeches inspire a lot of people.

He inspired me to make this video.

I want to see if he can deliver on his promises.

  • Look up the CFR, Both sides are filled with them,

Obamas youtube page wont allow CFR comments yet the racist ones are usually the first ones you see? they don't want you to know that most media is paid for by them, why do you think mike gravel and dennis kucinich were downplayed right off the bat? Even though both of them actually had plans for peace AND the healthcare that so many people flock to democrats for? Its because they were NOT-FOR-PROFIT! Obama AND Hillary are both PROFITEERS!

  • I can appreciate what you are saying, but of the candidates who actually have a shot, Obama is the closest one to getting the "for profit" out of politics.

Even if it's not as much as you or I would like, it could at least start moving in that direction.

McCain likes a lot of the Bush doctrine = more of the same.

Hillary takes the most money from lobbyists = more of the same.

Who knows, if Barack gets elected, you may be surprised?

You know exactly what you are getting with the other two.

  • Mike Gravel AND Ron Paul are both still there and if we make those delegates realize who is really working for the people they may vote for the right ones. Obama is not going to deliver on any of his promises, we cant afford them! unless you plan on dying soon you should vote for mike or ron

  • Gravel and Paul are both "still there?"

They both trail Huckabee, Romney and Edwards!(who dropped out before Super Tuesday)

The only reason they are still there, technically, is because they haven't removed their names yet.

You can't get rid of the old system over night.

You have to chip away at it, like the other side has done since we had the New Deal.

You have to get a 60% to %40 majority in the House to change anything.

Obama is the only one who has a chance to achieve that!

    Sorry.

  • Nice Job, VenicDred.

  • I know how you feel.
