There is a technique for de-boning them. There is a row of 'Y' shaped bones along the sides. You cut one fillet from above them, and one below them, giving you two boneless fillets per side. And, of course, you cut out the red strip of meat along the lateral line. There is probably a tutorial on YouTube for this somewhere.

Then you can fry, bake, broil, grill or smoke them. Delicious.

u should use those old school fishing arrows made out of wood, the point like comes off and the line is attached to the arrow only so after you hit it, you gotta get the arrow which is floating cuz its wooden,

Yononindo, this is a very spiritual video. I was out in my kayak, as you say Kajak, yesterday. I paddled into a school of grass carp that were feeding. I wondered if they were edible. I was bass fishing, but I had no luck. I also bowfish. I have a compound, but after seeing you use the recurve, I think I'll buy one. How do you prepare and cook your fish? You did an excellent job of filming. Keep them coming.

EXCELLENT production! I tried to get into bowfishing with some odds and ends i had laying around in the garage... 30lb recurve, and a tape-on-reel... i bought the arrow and other fixings,,,, the 30lb bow wasnt near enough to even toss the arrow... Im thinkin about getting a bow within the month though, cant wait!

How can you stand the tape-on-reel!!! It takes me like 15min per shot!

i have a recurve that has a 45lb draw weight. i never shot carp with a recurve but do u think that 45 is strong enough to shoot 35-70lb carp.
