You all seem to be missing the fact that the Enforcer is made to be a ranged backstab. You see the enemies' health, so you know how many shot's it'll take to down your target. It's pretty good when you want to take out a Sniper packing a Bushwacka. It's extremely good when you want to take down Pyros, because they can't do jack until they turn around to attack. By which point, you'll have pooped off three rounds into them, and be on your way.

@PastureToastMaN thats were i have to disagree with you, the dead ringer is an aggressive watch, effectivly making the spy a more theif type character, one who can be very stealthy but also can handle frontal attacks, the other revolvers dont have enough power behind them to compliment the dead ringer's play style. reg revolver is just bad IMO, dead ringer spies often dont have anough time to get headshots with ambassedor, and the diamondback only has any power if you sap a sentry.

@narutorulez81 Well, what are you doing running around shooting people with the revolver in the first place? The spy is a stealth class, and there is no reason for him to handle frontal attacks. That's why the stock revolver was made to be weak, so it would encourage knife use. By having the enforcer, we see spies running around with the enforcer out being complete idiots trying to be a power class when in reality he should stay stealthy. There really is no reason for a more powerful revolver.

@PastureToastMaN Thats one thing i hate about most spies, why only do knife use? its a SITUATIONAL weapon only used for backstab and a very occasional melee fight. I like the Dead ringer, not to be a power class, but it is better for me because im a more aggressive player, but i do stay with stealth. the dead ringer compliments most dead ringer playstyles, because it gets you out of a pinch the the other revolvers simply cannot do.

@narutorulez81 But, the knife is the whole point of the spy, how is it situational? Valve gave the spy the ability to go invisible. The purpose of this was to get behind the enemy and to essentially "one hit kill them" with a backstab. Which is again why the revolver was made weak. You kind of have it backwards, the revolver is situational. You should only be using it if you are being chased down by a pyro or something similar. I agree an aggressive playstyle is fine, but that's not his purpose.

@PastureToastMaN The knife is ENTIRLEY situational! how are you going to fight a scout with the knife? go up and stab him to death? no you will lose, even if you go invis, thats were enforcer and dead ringer come in, dead ringer to go invisible than disquise and pull out enforcer to take the scout out in all of 2 shots, this repeats for any other class. you cant always be the sneaky spy, its just not gonna happen, ive seen to many spies die because of the knife. thats the reason for that combo.

@narutorulez81 I beg to differ. The fact that knife is a one hit kill via backstab mies kind of gives me more incentive to use the knife. It's an asset when taking down engies and their sentries, and a medic healing a heavy or whatnot. Trying to use a revolver in most of these situations is a bad idea, since the spy should strike fast, kill his target, then vanish only to strike again. Not to say the revolver is useless, it can be used to fend off pyros or other threats while running to safety.

Most weapons have at least one way of using them skillfully. Although, some weapons (FaN, Backburner, Black Box, Liverty Launcher, Sleeper, etc, etc) do not even give a benefit even when using them the intended way. Most of teh time though, the Stock weapon is the best.

False. Enforcer is good no matter what watch, you just have to compensate for the extra cloak time. It's not really that bad, just means you spend a little bit more time in blind spots. It might make a quick getaway a bit harder but it's also still doable.

And yeah, there is no downside to using it with DR so unless you're playing saharan spy there is no reason not to use enforcer with it.

The FaN is meant to be used in wide open spaces, taking advantage of the scoot's agility to get in close then knock the opponent back, then usually finish them with the pistol. Try actually using the weapons the way they're meant to be used, FTPer.

In a scenario where you just killed someone with 2 rockets and you have 1 rocket left, someone behind the corner might see you and kill you while you try to kill him with your last rocket. Even if you have the shotgun a well aimed bullet can kill you while you try to switch weapon. And you are confusing the scattergun with the FaN, nub. I bet you are whining on some steam tf2 forum :D

@Bartbfbb First of all, nope. The LL, if you keep autoreload on, will reload fast enough that you can have at least 2 shots in it most of the time. Plus, you should have a reserve shooter to compensate. Secondly, I wasn't confusing the vanilla scattergun with the FaN, the FaN is meant to be used in wide spaces because of the kick on it. It launches people back, so using it in wide spaces is ideal. Now try not being a faggot when you reply this time.
