I can't say enough about this beauty of a song both lyrics and musically. It is the 80's at its BEST. Songs like this made the 80's the best of the best decade of music and you can take that to the bank. How this person voted this song down is dillustional.

@bappichulo I agree 100% about your statement concerning "Cutting Crew" being more than just "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight!" "I've Been In Love Before" is their best release to me. Everytime I hear it, it just takes me back in time to the 80's when Iife was a lot more enjoyable than it is today!

cutting crew were actually a canadian/english based band... this along with "i died in your arms tonight" were 2 of the best songs of the 80s..... this could be re-released today and still acheive a top ten position

the band were Nick Van Eede,Kevin Scott MacMichael,Colin Farley and Martin Beadle and their first album "broadcast" was released on richard bransons virgin label the current line up only has one original member ( Nick Van Eede ) ....... true class !

You know, I heard them interviewed and they didn't sound Scottish, but what do I know I'm a Californian! Ha Ha! The original is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. Great flow to the tune! I recall this video coming out during the early days of MTV. Great song to take that special lady to the dance floor! Great Aussie band!

was in my 20s in the 80s and i wish time could have stood still for about 20 years. a great time to be alive, fabulous musicians and music. i've been in love with this ballad ever since, and fall in love with whoever is around when i'm listening to it again. lol :-D we desperately need these guys to record again.
