  • There were plans to reintroduce them into the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, to feed on white-tailed deer and beaver there. I have never heard anything more about this plan. Are they still planning to go through with it?

  • thos birds are pretty hardcore...

  • Dammit, those crows are distracting!

  • I show my dominance by peeing right in the middle of the toilet.

  • Algonquin wolves look more like small wolves instead of how red wolves look like big coyotes right?

  • those are coyotes

  • @bordercolliefreak73 No those would be wolves thanks for coming out

  • The birds (huge birds) aren't shy. What kind of birds are they?

  • I only ever saw five wolves.....

  • Seven wolves are in the pack and were seen in the valley at the same time, however only 5 appear in the video frame at once. The others are nearby but not visible during this video.

  • @FOAPAlgonquinPark Aaaaah, okay.

  • @FOAPAlgonquinPark Part 1/2 I have a cottage roughly 15 km from Algonquin Park, I’ve only had it for a few months, but one night I heard howling coming from outside my window. I asked my friend (who has been on the lake for years) if he has ever seen wolves nearby, he said that he has seen them from a distance on the lake…

  • @FOAPAlgonquinPark Part 2/2 About a week ago I woke up to see a half-eaten carcass on the lake; my neighbors seemed to think it was a deer carcass and said they heard wolves during the night. I was wondering how common wolves would be 15 km outside the southern tip of Algonquin in cottage country (Halliburton county).I know their rare to see, but I’m just curious to know if their around allot, or if their most likely just coyotes.

  • Thanks for this unusual footage of these shy animals.

  • wow so cool :O

  • Amazing, favourite animal favourite place. Hope to become a wildlife biologist someday.

  • Wow that's amazing. I was up there on Feb. 14th and saw the carcass. If only the wolves came then!

  • Amazing! Thanks for posting.

  • Fabulous!

  • Thanks for sharing this. We viewed this deer carcass on Feb 14 and 15 from the visitor centre and saw no action at all. Very interesting.

  • Pretty impressive video. Looks like it is from the Visitor Centre. Was the deer carcass placed here by park staff or did the deer die here naturally? We've heard lots of wolves on our Wolf Howl Canoe Trips and seen one or two, but this is pretty rare video.

  • how many timess have you taken the wolf howl trip?

  • @Rohan4basu I went to that before :D It's so fun but so much traffic >.>

  • Excellent Video, thanks for sharing it with us. I've reposted it to our website and groups in hopes that more people will enjoy it.

  • Fascinating!
