  • Thank you very much for all these videos !! Big Respect for what you're doing !!! Just 1 question: Tell me please, how many times a week i have to do all this stuff? Just to know, i'm also working every day on my technique but i really need to improve my cardiovascular endurance and i think that these sets should be really helpful !! Regards.

  • @MrDcerescu - Endurance at least x3 per week - Go to my channel and search How To Improve Football Endurance - and you will understand why.

  • Do u have any books on moves for soccer this is my first year of soccer and I'm getting killed by a whole bunch of mexicans with similar names like juan and jose

  • @TheMtndew32 - If you think you are reading go to my website and click I WANT TO IMPROVE

  • @Vastanden sorry bro. My facts are correct. Look it up. We actually called Soccer "football" for most of our history.

    U.S. Football Association – 1913-1944

    U.S. Soccer Football Association – 1945-1973

    U.S. Soccer Federation – 1974-Current

glad I could help you clear up your confusion. All of you are clearly passionate about the game as am I but, Soccer is not a "yank"original so leave it out with the negativity since you all clearly aren't aware of the games history....

  • Hey, looks like awesome drills, is there anyway I can get the drills ? We are in the middle of our pre-season, I really want to improve my stamina and physics so that I'll be ready for anything during the season!

  • no need.. I already downloaded it sorry for the trouble...gonna start my training tomorrow! thank you for the vids and advices! i won't forget to subscribe! hope you can do more tutorials and advice it really helps motivates players like me ;) thank you so much! more power to you!

  • @TheCalcio18 - No problem. Thank you for your support. Tell me more about your goals in football? what do you want to achieve in your life time?

  • can you send me the free training guide from your website? i've been trying to download it for about 2 days now. :( sigh...but the site says free download slot is full right now...try again later...i'm desperate can you give me another way to download it?

  • @TheCalcio18 - Send me a message and I can send you the link. I don't think you are following the directions correctly.

  • soccer is an old english term that was used by the aristocratic society in england. i believe it was an acronym for the ivey league association. it wasn't called football till much later by the poor. american football was derived from the game of soccer thus calling it football was somewhat accurate at the time because the game was much different and closer to soccer than it now. in order to avoid confusion between the 2 we started calling it by its ORIGINAL english name....soccer

  • @tdelling1 - Wow great history lesson. I did not know that. Where are you from?

  • @tdelling1 That is actually extremely incorrect. The original name of European Football was Association Football. It was called soccer by Americans by shortening Association (assoc).

  • so sick of this arguement...in our country it's soccer like in Italy it's calcio there is unfortunately a game here already called football, thus the name soccer. Why are we the only country that gets $h1t for what we call the freakin game?

  • @tdelling1 - Because Soccer? What does that actually mean? American football they don't even use their feet except for 1 player on each team. Football makes more sense. You actually use your feet!?

  • do we perform 5 sets of each exercies? e.g. 5 sets of 100m sprint/jog, 5 sets of square game, 5 sets of suicides? and thats one endurance workout for the day? thanks.

  • @tryandlike - Yes that is correct. Thanks. Have you picked up the Free training guide off my website? It's a great place for serious players to start tapping into their full potential. Follow the featured video on my YouTube channel.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials i did. thanks.

  • @tryandlike - Great stuff. Keep me posted on your progress. I am always here to help.

  • whats the difference between endurance and stamina??

  • @perlarock - Same thing - stamina could be considered your ability to recover after being tired. But both refer to running for longer periods of time without getting tired

  • @TheSoccerEssentials ooh okay thanks!!

  • Its FOOT - BALL NOT soccer... -.- WTF Is that??

  • @1997iwasborn - Who knows. FCKIN yanks!?

  • btw. Cant you make a vidoe about turning with the ball? Like when u have a defender on ur ass

  • @foged99hotmailcom - How to turn a defender?

  • @TheSoccerEssentials - was thinking more like getting past the defender when his just behind you. Isnt it all about a good first touch?

  • @foged99hotmailcom - Yep its usually all about a good first touch. You want to fake him one way with your body and then take a good positive touch in the other direction. Do you know what I mean?

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Yes i know what you mean, by the way. When theres club training, should i follow my conditioning plan or relax that day?

  • @foged99hotmailcom - Maybe modify or do it in the morning. You dont' want to do exhausting exercise back to back. Do you know?

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Was thinking more like go out and jog or speed and agilty drills

  • no Excuses. You could just go and lend ur neightboes microphone!

  • @foged99hotmailcom - Does your neighbour have a microphone? Maybe he can hook me up.

  • love the videos have help me alot thanks

  • @TheAnthony399 - Really glad to hear that. Have you picked up the Free Training Guide yet? Follow my featured video on my channel.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials i try to but didnt work ;( and can u please tell me how long should i job everyday to stay fit thank you sooo much your videos are the best

  • hey thanks for the drills.can you please give me a proper warm up to do before i do these drills?and do you think its okay if i use ankle weights to do these drills?my ankle weights are 2.5 pounds on each ankle so 5 pounds in total.thanks!

  • @RealMadrid14Futbol - Personally I think ankle weights cause more injury than actual improvements in speed. Just focus on pushing off quicker and being faster every time. if you don't know what I mean you are probably struggling to push yourself to new speeds. Do you know what I mean?

  • Great videos bro!! So I used to do HIIT shutttle runs 3 days/ week and these drills. Can I combine all the agility, speed and endurance drills into one session of 1hr 3 days/week instead of the normal HIIT sprints? I want to focus mainly on these drills. Any suggestions?

  • @naothi - Yep I think that is a great idea as long as you are getting adequate rest between workouts, warming up and cooling down and eating properly. Are you doing all of that? Thanks for the comment.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Yes I'm doing all the workouts with the speed, agility and endurance as different sets. I get plenty of rest in between the sets and subsets. After all those workouts I finish with bodyweight circuit training. It feels good.

  • @naothi - Good stuff. Now the key is to stick with it for a decent period of time. Try 1 month and let me know how you feel after that. Probably like SUPER MAN!

  • How long would it take to get good stamina/fitness doing these exercises? I used to play for a team when i was younger and was the top goal scorer but dropped out after falling out with a player (which i now regret :() Currently im a really fast sprinter but get tired very quickly and stamina has always been my problem, im a foward with a very powerful shot and with a stamina boost il be able to pass my academy trial coming up next season :)

  • @PixelLynx - You can start seeing improvements in your fitness as quickly as 1 week if you did these exercsies x3 per week. However, you should be looking at improving your stamina as a life long goal not just a quick fix. Stick with a consist x3 per week program for 2 months and you will be in peak shape. Thanks for the comment. Keep me posted on your progress.

  • How many times a week should I do these drills?

  • @MrSantoslaguna11 2-3 at least one day of rest in between. Thanks for the comment,

  • hey my mile-time used to be horrible(7:15) now its alright probably like 6:30-6:45 I don't feel really tired running the mile anymore but in soccer when I dribble the ball excessively my quadriceps get really sore fast and it causes me to get out of breath. Is this normal?

  • @PeinItachi - Its possibly because you aren't warming up properly. Really make sure you stretch out your calves, hamstrings, and quads before playing. ANd I mean actually - go to my channel and search how to warm up for soccer

  • @TheSoccerEssentials alright, I'll try that I think I need to run more and maybe work on my breathing technique while playing soccer

  • how do i build endurance ? should i run jog how long for and how many times a week

  • @johnpaulm551 - You can do these drills every second day to improve your endurance. It's all about consistency. I prefer this type of work over long slow jogs, they are much more beneficial.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials k man cheers but will joggin everyday improve my endurance too ?

  • @johnpaulm551 - Yep. But not as quickly or efficiently. If you want to jog everyday I would suggest changing speeds every so often. Jog moderate speed for a bit, then sprint for 10 - 30 seconds, recover, and repeat.

  • You also need to learn how to tumble, and do some crazy flips for whenever you score a goal.

  • @stevelau1933 - Very important! Gotta get those goal celebrations in!

  • These are great demonstrations! Thank you!

  • @sameerg7 No problem. Hope you are actually putting them to use!

  • @xGTHANG - This isn't the 1930s bud. Times are changing ;)

  • Thanks so much for this video, this season is about to end for my club team (which is horrible, so i might move on to another team) so in the off season I need some workouts and training to do, so once again, thanks for keeping me off the couch!

  • @HudsonRocksYourSocks - No worries. But thank yourself. Your the one going out and making things happen. Im just hear to provide a bit of guidance and motivation

  • i dont know if its in one of your tutorials but could you maybe do a tutorial on crossing the ball from the wing into the penalty box while dribbling fast/running down the line with the ball?

  • @SonyCamry - Ok I will put it on my To Do List. Keep in mind I have a bunch of videos to do but I will get around to it one day. Thanks for your feedback.

  • i think the audio is fine (:

  • @Halfgallonmilk123 - Thanks.

  • @Halfgallonmilk123 - Thanks.

  • In pre-season we did catch ups around the whole pitch, KILLER!

  • @hemal67 - Oh geez. Ya that is KILLER. Did anyone die?

  • oh dylan i just remembered can u do a tutorial on how to direct headers like offensive headers im not that good at those especially if i have to jump for it im good in the air but it doesnt help much in the box when i cant direct them n that would get me on the score sheet more often cus theres 3 guys that score off of corners

  • @zmojofoot76 - Ok I will put it on my To Do List. Keep in mind I have a bunch of videos to do but I will get around to it one day. Thanks for your feedback.

  • @zmojofoot76 - Ok I will put it on my To Do List. Keep in mind I have a bunch of videos to do but I will get around to it one day. Thanks for your feedback.

  • how do i get myself used to 100 meters

  • @zmojofoot76 just run them and your body will start to adapt to a full 100m sprint

  • @zmojofoot76 - Start with shorter distances - 50m, each day you do it, increase by 10 yards - try to hold your top speed over that distance.

  • dude ill be honest i can keep top speed in short burst at the most pro 80 meters

  • catch ups are good, i used to do these at my old club but our coach made us do them on a bigger square (mini pitch) and also in a group of 10 r so players, but what would happen is when some players were sprinting we would speed up so they wouldn't catch us up lol

  • @footyfarid19 - Haha, ya its a good one and good for team building. Forces you to push and motivate each other.

  • i dont need to do this. i train my mind to move the ball to where I need it. very effective skill, you cant teach that to anyone

  • @Donpatch88 - Alright well technical skill and game intelligence is very important but if you can't keep up with the pace of the game because you aren't fit enough... you will be in trouble. Don't neglect your fitness.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials most of my training is on the pitch. which is my couch's nickname. so no worries. I got this.
