These brushless motors are 3 Phase A/C motors. The controller converts the DC output of the battery into a 3 phase a/c or pulsing DS output. This equals a higher efficiency. You car starter might be 40-50% effcient, this motor is over 90% efficient.
can you set this on high advance on the castle controller and instantly get 38000? or does it take time to spool? what would happen if you hooked it up with no controller to a 12 volt car battery?
