  • Beautiful song and thanks for the lyrics.

  • cute song,i love it...many thanks for postting it.five stars..

  • kinda reminds me of my uncle...nice song...simple but unique...

  • This is the original version & the best, there's not doubt, her voice is unique & nobody compares to her.

  • R.I.P. Joel Dorn

  • Like the old saying " There is nothing like the real thing"!

  • Like the fugees version better

  • people kill me with liking the remakes of something-just like a lot of people say that about Dolly Parton's song "I Will Always Love You" remade by Whitney Houston-Although, you love the remake can't you respect where the original was came from?!

  • Oh yeah I definately respect the original I was just saying I like Lauryen's voice. You gotta respect the original cause no one can do it better.

  • oh okay-my bad, yeah Lauryn's voice is wonderfully amazing-Have you heard "Lose Myself"?

  • I have got to disagree completely. I just listened to both Roberta Flack's and the Fugee's versions of this song back to back. There is obviously a mountain of digital "production" involved in recording Lauryn Hill's voice in the Fugee's version. I don't think Lauryn sounds better than Roberta at all. I find Roberta more genuine, more analog, and just plain better.

  • agreed

  • And u will probably never know kagomefan3..read a book for goodness sake. (and yes u r sorry)

  • Oh yeah!! it reminds me of my past. I love to hear this song and i love to see it most in a real video of Roberta Flack like this. Many thanks for sharing and posting nkaiken.

  • GOD!!!!!! This is my favorite song! I was listened for the first time when I was 7 years old, and now, that I'm 41, ALWAYS makes me remember my childness!!!

  • merely suggesting that there are certain songs which should remain the way there were originally. eg satisfaction from the rolling stones hope you understand.

  • the ORIGINAL version!!!!!

  • When she sang this song, she was in her 20's. You should hear her sing it now, it's amazing. She know for a powerful voice, but she's also know for her tone. The Fugee's did a great job as well.

  • this isnt that old compared to fucking who its about which is about Don McLean with his song American Pie who most people believe it's about Buddy Holly who died in an airplane crash

  • sure as hell can sing, the fugees tried to match and blew it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • come on man, you know dag on well the fugees didn't blow it. If anything I'd say lauryn hill's voice is a little more soulful. I respect the architect by i don't think she's better.

  • B-e-a-utiful. I like The Fugees version but i think i prefer that one, simply classic.

  • love you, roberta, where are you now?

  • amazing, brings back the memories

  • great song. brings back the memories.

  • i luv about a boy specially wen he sings this

  • nothing like old school...simply amazing.
