how do you activate the option "widescreen"? i just can´t use my 19¨ lcd in 1440x900

The default wallpaper in 8.10 is fucking UGLY. Whoever decided on that one should be SHOT.

I installed it about a 10 days a go, when final was released. Its wery good, everything that didn't work on 8.04 now works, and network connections are so much easyer to set up.

gtk-record my desktop, if you are in ubuntu, you can install it with

sudo apt-get install gtk-recordmydesktop

I'm installing Ubuntu for the 3rd or 4th... I keep switching from XP to Ubuntu but I think this will be the final switch... getting tired of Window's crap so I think being happy with Ubuntu is a healthier decision. :D

I work in a computer store (sales, service, networking, whatever), we've installed Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex on two new systems today and one older system for customers.
