There's plenty of history in Milton Keynes, for example, Bletchley Park, roman settlements, William Cowper famous poet who wrote amazing grace in Olney. There’s a national theatre, countless museums. If your idea of a cultured city is one with a big cathedral, or perhaps disgusting theme park rides along a pier, then perhaps you are the uncultured one in this equation.
I lived in MK for 18 years and then moved to London; I miss it tremendously.
@tobler88 hahaha you crack me up.ive lived in milton keynes for 33 years and i know of only one museum.theme park,do you mean gullivers land? bletchley park.dont make me laugh.they have built a fucking mosque there.roman settlements.that they bulldozed over & built a shopping centre & put one tiny mosaice on the wall with most of it missing.were talking about mk.olney is a village outside of mk.none of those villages surrounding mk didnt want mk.how can a 44 year old town have culture.?
