Did you separate the drum track from the main mix somehow? Or are you just covering it so well you can't hear the original drums?

@Sputnikm19 ha, I would like to say I just covered it so well you cannot tell. But, I record the drum track and then paste it over the original track and mix the volumes to whatever sounds like a good balance of drums.

Hey man, what do you think would sound better ? A mic over or under the snare ?

@Nemesy96 I have a cover called "To the burial" that uses both under and above. Really there is a little sound difference, I think below catches the snare springs better but above catches the snap/pop of the snare better. If you put one below the overhead condenser mic will pick up the pop pretty good and the under mic will pick up soft strokes and drags better - a good mix.
