Basically, think about it this way, what would happen if ALL 5 cards were flipped at the same time and shuffled, so that we wouldn't know the order in which they were dealt?

We wouldn't say "Oh he hit his set on the flop, but got sucked out on on the river".

What matters are the 5 cards which will come to the river.And after those 5 cards are dealt a 4 to 1 hand will win 4 out of 5 times.And it will sometimes be quads on the flop, only to lose to runner-runner better quads..

So, 8 cards was revealed. 44 left.

Antonius need one of 6 possible cards (4 Q, 2 K)

You want to know the percentage.

1st divide: 100% : 44 cards = 2.27(...)

Now multiply: 6 cards x 2.27 = 13.62

Thats 14 %

And that's correct

Phil Laak calculation is a rough estimation and I've learn that it is actually a basis of poker. 6x2x1.
