The specs say 7-8" @ 1K yrds,,,,Depending on ammo, weather and shooter...I have heard alot less....I unfortunately only could go 400 yards....and nailed it on the head...well for me anyway....LOL

@DeathisAcandidate i agree. and am envious of your job. i am going to purchase my second ar50 soon. i used to own a barret as well. tbh thisrifle doesnt have hte shock absorbing of the barret, but it isnt that bad tbh. and these are cheaper vs the barret to purchase. but stlil a VERY nicely made weapon.

I live in CA and I would drive to Nevada or Oregon to shoot it and that was cool because my buddy had a 1500 yard range but he sold his property so I had to make the hard decision to sell it. one day though I will get another one. been thinking on getting the AR30 338 lapua

Hey I know your pain....Sorry about CommiFornia....I had a friend down there that had the 338 AR-30...he really liked it....but dam the rounds for that thing are just as expensive as the 50 BMG....you might think about the 300WM...easier and cheaper to find ammo....make sure you get the Muzzle Break...LOL...if you want to keep your shoulder in place....LOL

Well that is a big question...I recently have gone with the ADM Recon mounts...ADM says they will hold up to the AR-50...and they are QD....

As for the scope...well the Base would be the Super Sniper series...all the way up to US. Optics...it all depending on what is in your wallet of bank account...LOL. But you definitely what something you can go long range with...Mil Dot is my preference...
