10:42 thats the cop who Kayako kills in the original Ju-On LMFAO the guy just cant get a break from these creepy chicks with white dresses an long black hair xD
@rcrazyish. No, he's saying the autopsy on Sadako says she died one/two years ago, there saying she lived thirty years after her death in the well. Which for obvious reasons confuses the hell out of these men.
@NightCrimson You can't live thirty years after your death, what are you talking about. xD
She didn't die when she was thrown down the well, that's the point. She tried to climb out over and over again, that's why her fingernails were missing. She lived down there for thirty years.
@superstarohmygirl. I meant after her supposed death. Everyone basically thought she had died thirty years ago when she was really living in the well.
This is the first sequel I've seen that actually picks up RIGHT AFTER the first movie. I mean, it's like no time has gone by, and I don't have to worry about missing things that happened while I was gone! AWESOME!!!
i kinda dont want to watch the american one not that im scared its just some of my friends said it sucked and i do not want to waste my hours watching a sucky movie, i like the japanese ones better.
@lavendaperfume yep! he later on changes to a hunter green shirt though. i think it's awesome that he's both ju-on and Ringu 2. I also nticed some of the scene's in this movie are just like some of the scenes in ju-on, like the hair creeping out from under the cover on the gurney, where Kanae is behind Kobayashi sensei at the end, like Kayako is behind Karen in the american remake of ju-on, and both Kayako and Sadako are alike. in a way. because both just wants to be understood.
for starters, there's some other japanese horror movies on this person's youtube account. just click the name "japhorrorlover" right above the video and it'll take you to the profile. also, there's texas chainsaw masacre, freddy vs jason, The Hollow (that one has Nick Carter from the backstreet boys in it hehe), Wrong Turn, um thats it for now. i can't think of anymore off the top of my head right now lol. enjoy.
What the hell? How could she have lived down in a sealed up well, filled up to your elbows with dirty, contaminated water, with no way of getting food, and no way of getting clean water for 30 years? -.- That's just not possible. They all must be high or something to be thinking that. xD
@LetsUploadAnime Not high, lol. Humans can live for 7 days without food and water. That's why her victims were always killed 7 days after they saw the tape. It's explained really well in the American version of The Ring. Hope that helps!
Instead of watching it all I read the Wikipedia walk through. unlike the English one Reiko dies and Sadako doesn't want her as a new mother! (I think) I LOVE the English one MUCH better
@filth69ify1 I was thinking the same! and there was a stone on top of the well, so no frogs could have jumped in... but on the other hand.... she was kinda eh... special.
Ok, I'm BAD!!!! I Liked this as much as the original!!!!! Thought it built on the original in quite a few new ways and went in original directions...a true "sequel"...I loved it!!!!!
great quality.. awesome movie... good audio... all nice.. the only problem is i speak spanish .___. .. but at least i guess i can practice my reading with this! thkns a lot!! ^^
The first one wasn't scary at all (Though it wasn't short from entertaining). I was expecting to be scared out of my mind, and yet I was given some moderately scary stuff. The movie was more suspense than anything; not necessarily horror
That title intro with the sea in the background is just amazing.
For those of you who didn't know because it was only vaguely passed over in the original Ringu... Sadako's father is an ancient demigod from the sea, so the raging ocean during the title is a reference to where the evil originated from, not to mention it makes a great backdrop…ingenious.
it confuses me how she could live for 30 years because you can only last about 2 months without food if you have water :/ but meh maby she found fish X3
I just watched Ringu 0, and now im heading to Ringu 2... I've watched Ringu 1 bunch of times when i was in gradeschool aahahah still can remember the "moments" ... Sadako awesome!
I watched ringu and it was awsome way better than the American version which didn't explain Mmuch and the characters r supposed to be phsychic or something so it didn't get to explain key parts of the story and what not. But ringu was awsome so I decided to watch this ill also watch the prequal?
i kno that u have 2 show people the tape to live, but if she's going to show her dad/Yoichi's Grandfather, warn him to show it 2 someone else so that HE can live 2!
well if i remember from watching the american ones they said about her not eating and so on..so if she dont need to eat or drink and never sleeps....and shes pretty much a demon thingy lol then i guess so...
Yes. I read that he knew what would happen to his grandson if he didn't watch the tape so he sacrificed himself so his grandson could live a full life.
that was dumb, she said at the endof no1 you could save yourself by copying and showing it to someone else, so she did, and so could the grandfather...
Yes he could have but he felt that the curse should end with him and he felt that he lived a full enough life anyway. I'm not sure but I think he's supposed to be in his 80's and had some kind of illness.
Could someone please explain something to me? If as it was said in the ring 1 Shizuko sat and stared at the sea all day, then why was Sadako so afraid of it? and, Even if she survived for 30 years due to the curse of her other half, wouldn't she still have some form of compassion for others, even if it had become twisted and insane? And why the bejeezers do so many people say she's a Hermaphrodite?! Nowhere in any of the movies does it say that...I think?
@bloodangelwx...why would Sadako be afraid of the sea? Perhaps it was not the sea itself, but rather water. Sadako was born a powerful psychic so perhaps she could see her own death.
