I highly doubt he'll hurt his arm. His mechanics are to good he throws using torque created by his whole body. They also had on innings limit for his rookie year and minor league years to preserve his arm.

@psopitch8 people underestimate him & are quick to discount him against other pitchers with "better" stats...well he certainly held his own against halladay, lowe & lee and made all his appearances count in the world series which is when it mattered most...he did not cave in under the pressures all season and post-season long... to think he is only in his 3rd full season...for all that he's accomplished, he doesn't have a big ego to go with it & is so easy going & unassuming. He IS the BEST! :)
