Do you by any chance have a music sheet for that piece? i've picked up some of notes by ear but i'm bit confused with synch for left and right hand... l do like it very much and would like to play it myself... Regards.. :)
I'm trying to find a good beginner digital piano for around $300 that has a VERY realistic piano feel. I don't mind if there is onboard sound or not, as long as it has a VERY realistic touch to it, I'd be happy. Does anyone know if such a think exists, I was thinking of putting it on my Christmas list. : )
im doing the same. np30 does NOT have realistic feel. casio cpd100 has weighted keys but i heard teh sounds are off on the mid keys. sells 300-350 if you can find good price.
casio px130 also has weighted keys. has highly acclaimed sound and very reccmoneded from what i hear. but price is $400
i've ordered the np-30 for myself as well, and my piano teacher told me that an ordinary piano has 88 keys. 76 keys are enough for most of the songs, as well as classical songs. The other 12 keys are barely being used.
I own the NP30 and it is great. I think it weights only 12 pound = 6 kg. You can basicly pick it up with one hand. It is so portable and the piano sound is good. I own a grand piano Yamaha C2 and Roland xp80 and korg sp100 but this one is my favorite at the moment due to portabillity and sound. The touch is good, I would not want it any other way because then the board would be heavy
I had my daughter (who is just learning) playing on a real piano and the keys are just too heavy for her. I don't mind the light-weighted keys at all :)
Are the keys touch sensative? :)
thanks in advance.

Is this sound coming from the NP-30's speakers or are you hooked up to an external sound system (keyboard amplifier, etc)? The sound is good.

I didn't hook it to an external sound system. I recorded it with my HD camcorder.

Nice job!!
Does this keyboard have velocity sensitive keys so depending on how hard you hit they key it makes a louder sound?
Matt27689 3 years ago
yes yes... they have that ability, which is nice, but I wish they are weighted.... It was a good price

Sounds good however i think the weighted keys idea would make the piano heavier and less portable IMHO. Its designed as a portable gig piano.

It can also be adjusted, to be more or less sensitive, or not sensitive at all.
