I guess the point I was trying to make is that we don't have Steve Perrys anymore. I mean, who was the last unique sounding mainstream rock frontman with a unique vocal character that could actually sing? Axl Rose? Jonathan Davis? It's been awhile. Still, your point is well taken. After five and a half years she dumped him, if he only knew. She brought a lot of pain to him and the death of his mom was way more than he could handle. I feel that is the reason he left Journey as well as other reasons. He will forever remain in our hearts as "THE VOICE".
