@KATANAcom Fake? : DDDD if you see well, with it with no fake. Also it is depends on the driver. These cars are pretty balanced. A race that was about 1 km from 0 km to about 180 km

@holub5 I agree. It depends on a lot of things, such as how the car is usually driven. That Saxo looks like it sees a lot of full throttle and that may be an advantage. Anyway, have seen a ot of small saxos beating bigger cars, and it is typical for it to match these sort of cars.

@KATANAcom it's so funny when people think that Saxo VTS's are slow and if they beat anything it's 'fake' when you'll find that the OFFICIAL 0-60mph figures for the Saxo and Audi are BOTH 7.9seconds...not the times you stated! When cars are the same it only depends on driver and not the car: who can shift faster..how quick the start was..etc..etc. If anyone would like to check, please feel free to look on parkers website.

Was a very close race, saxo did well as considering people think that audi is faster when in reality both cars are the same...they both do 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds! All depends on driver.

I hear they put a high second gear in those Saxo`s to improve 0-60 time, I would also imagine the Saxo is a lighter car than that Audi, Either way though, I wouldn`t have thought you would want much more power with the front engine / Front wheel drive, And with the small wheelbase that Citroen Saxo has

My old VTS use to leave 1.8t's easier than that but the engine was practically brand new then I got absolutely raped by a Vectra 1.9cdti he was pushing me for miles so I thought I would gun it off the roundabout he overtook me and 10 other cars was well impressed by the oil burner the VAG PD's are quick too
