Manowar actually did meet some criticism due to the look of this album cover, but I don't think they intended any pro-Nazi stuff. They even denied such ideas one time, if I remember correctly.

That's like what people say about the band Demon Hunter, they are extremely Christian and sing about good values and god, yet because they have a demon in their logo, people are scared of it. It's just music. Red, white, and black are very common for logo choices. That's all that is has in common with nazis.
