Up until that point I thought Lenora just acted like she liked him so he would be a better ally. Remeaber Lenora got PIRATES to co operate, she's like a super politican. The way Giacomo said "I liked it here" him and Arri had a thing, the king would've liked the potential for the brother of the lord of one of two significant Vinci powers. An alliance through marriage of the Alin and Miana would have crushed the doge, Carlini should have left Giacomo where he was so said marriage could occur.

@Tragaloth Actually, Lenora IS a pirate. She calls them "my pirata", as I recall, and is listed as their Captain; when she's talking to Giacomo after he helps trash the Air Crusher it even seems like she might be their leader.
