I am not ashamed to admit that I never knew about the Chicano Moratorium prior to taking a Mexican-American History course in school, there are so many things I never knew and am now finally realizing. I recommend taking ethnic studies courses whenever possible, we need to empower the next generation so they can feel proud of who they are and from where they came, SI SE PUEDE!
