Excelente intepretación de: El bello Danubio azul -título original en alemán- en Europa (sobre todo en Alemania,Francia y Austria) el vals Johann Strauss, se considerada una de las más populares piezas de la música clásica. No he encontrado antecedentes de tu afirmación, posiblemente tengas razón, lo que se sabe, es que en 1867, Johann Herbeck, director del Wiener Männergesangverein, pidió a Strauss que le escribiera un vals . Este lo compuslo, terminando el encargo, que se convirtió en el más famoso y popular de sus 400 valses.

En aquella época, reinaba en Viena una atmósfera derrotista como consecuencia de la derrota de Austria a manos de Prusia en la Guerra de las Siete Semanas en 1866

Bravo! I so love this waltz ! In Russia it's very popular. And anybody knows that It is written by Romanian composer Iosif Ivanovichi. In russian this waltz names Dunaiskie volny.

It is very similar in style to the Russian waltz Na sopkah Manchjurii or Amurskie volny.

Romanians and Russians are brothers!
