Tamahome became a real person due to Miaka's wish but he lost his memories of the previous anime. So they lived a normal life until Mayo entered the picture. She discovered the book and learned what happened before. It happenes she has a crush on Tama so she took advantage of being a new priestess of the Suzaku. Tada!! The rest is history!

Fushigi yuugi eikouden is about when Miaka and Taka got married and Mayo is in love with Taka and was jealous of Miaka marrying him, she found the book in the trash. The story is about saving both worlds before the fake Suzaku takes over. She was kind of under the fake suzaku, the fake suzaku took her in because she has a evil heart, the more hatred Mayo pours out the fake suzaku gets more powerful...

Because Mayo opened the book and got suck in and at the same moment, Miaka fell unconcious, her baby got out of her stomach. Tamahome went to the book to get Mayo out and the baby. At the end, Tamahome got Mayo back into their world and then at the hospital, Miaka woke up and Tamahome was holding her hand.

Fushigi Yugi, that is the manga with the story of Miaka and Yui. Though I must admit, I've never seen anything of the girl in this video. The stuff in this video isn't in the manga, pretty sure the series ends at volume 18.

Also another one to check out is the newest one, Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden. It covers the story of the first of the priestesses. So far it is only up to volume 4, but it's very good.
