mate nearly anyone would swap employers for significantly more money - whats more Arsenal were on the decline (what have they won since he left?) and Chelsea had just won the league then, and hes already won 3 trophies with them. Hes an asset to the game.

Good points but I think the main gripe with him is that he and quote "nearly drove off the road in amazement when Arsenal ONLY offered him 55 grand a week." Now that is pretty greefy. To the normal football fan that does grate a lot.

yeah i can see that, but (and dont quote me on this) i think he was only shocked at that because the Arsenal Chairman publicly offered him a higher amount, around 75k i believe, and then reduced that amount to 55. i think.
