This might be worth it for vollies and backhand slices, but if you want to hit "like" the pros on forehands and backhands you may want to learn how to use your wrists, not lock your wrists. Notice the lag Federer gets on his FH as he lays back his wrist the face is going back while his arm is going forward. Then he accelerates the racquet more using his forearm muscles from wrist laid back to neutral. Rolling his wrist counterclockwise (up and forward) into the ball at the end of the stroke.
It looks like the wrist assist makes you hold a continental grip on the forehand -- what pro uses the continental grip these days? "Feel what the pros feel...in 1950."
Actually, you can use any grip you would like whether it be a semi-western, eastern, western or continental. If you notice the WristAssist doesn't promote any one grip, it instead helps square the racket face at the contact point with the ball by keeping the wrist in a laid back position. If you watch any pro on the tour closely you will notice that they have their wrist laid back when making contact with the ball.
