This whole concept is a bit mind blowing to this Yank. Ferrets, shovels, dirt, electronics, exhaustion. Can you make rabbit hunting any harder or more complicated? LOL.
if collar had been on the ferret it wood have been a better video but the way simmon's done it it defeets object hes hindin the collar there him self so how can anybody lean any think from this video
@DaddyZac100 Well arent you fuckin awesome mate. It was an entirely simulated situation done in a slowed down style in order to create an idiots guide on how to use a ferret finder and all we get from you is how shit it is and how poor a choice of shovel (looked like it dug through soft soil ok to me maybe they had that and a graft for harder going too (horses for courses) and how quickly you can dig paunch and fry a rabbit. well done dickhead pat yourself on the back.
i was just wondering with the mk 1 can you use any collar say a replacement or does it have to be the one that came with the box , sorry if it sounds stupid im new to ferreting and id just like to get some decent advise on the locators .
just got myself one its coming in the post cost me 138 pounds with a collar. i have to say the price of these ferret finders is way too high. i hope they are worth the cash
I have used the Deben mk 1 a few years ago and just started back ferreting so decided to buy the new mk 3 finder, some people i have mentioned it to have always said the mk 1 was better,i tried my mk 3 first time out and wow its far superior to the mk 1,i have no regrets in purchasing the new mk 3. Well done Deben. A++++++
theres no need for ferret finders, ok they might be handy if your in a rush or somthing but i have been ferreting for years and i have never used one of them in my life, to much money for somthing that isnt need badly if you ask me
I have used the Mk3 unit for over a year now & have only used the "beeps" when I`m trying to pinpoint the final location - not realising that they can be used when searching too.....very helpful guide - cheers for taking the time with the demo!
Any info on the terrier finder any instructional videos?

Theres nothing good about this video.
I have never seen such a pathetic attempt to show people how to locate a ferret.
I use a MK1 & i can find the ferrets instantly while my mates are still playing tunes on their daft orange box.
And what sort of spade are you boys using ??????
Thats a god damn snow shovel ?????
What a way to embarrash yourself.
Pathetic !!!!!!
By the time you clowns find a ferret I could have it dug, rabbit out, gutted and in the frying pan.
Amateurs....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
