I played with Shawn's other band Euphoria back in 90-91 and remember Kelly in Atheist back in those days. Awesome collaboration between 2 of my favorite musicians from when I lived in Sarasota. You guys F'in rock!!
I remember seeing these guys at the YNF BIRTHDAY BASH with FIREHOUSE filling in for a band that cancelled. (It might have been ECONOLINE CRUSH who cancelled.) After the last band played I was walking toward the exit and saw this dude run up and land a forearm in the back of this other dudes head. The funny part was the guy that got elbowed turned around. Picked the other guy up and bodyslammed him then STOMPED ON THE GUYS FACE!!! THAT WAS ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS IVE EVER SEEN AT A CONCERT!!!
kelly went back to atheist who just released a new album and are gettin ready to tour europe. i dont have any clue what happened to the other guys. shawn bowen (guitars) i thought was really cool. loved his dreadlocks!!! lol!!! g.j.(drums) i thought was a prick!!! (lil stuck up punk!!!) cant remember the other guys!!!
Man I have no Idea what happened to these guys but I loved seeing them play at the outer limits in Bradenton.... back when the outer limits didn't have police at the door everynight! I used to party there with several friends, Marty Tipton, T/ tunda and her cuz Mary, chuck..... ron.... Richard. It was a really good time in my life, but a very unstable time, I was young. The night we saw these guys I believe i was hanging with Lucy in the sky with dimonds and couldn't shoot pool at all, lol.
