Actually I haven't seen but one of her earliest films a long time ago and I don't recall the title. All I know is I was so taken by her luscious powerful presence that she's never left my psyche. I also appreciate her rebel honesty.

Her spectacular 'luscious powerful presence' (nicely put) is omnipresent in the tragic same time beautiful film "37°2 (Betty Blue)" - really you should check it out or see it again (DVD available).

Her character in Betty Blue is all about passion, madness and lust for life. Anti-hypocrit and -conformity. She is like a wild, lively, sexy beast ánd funny and interesting. Perfect! But alas... the story then reveals there indeed ís something wrong instead of only intriging. A now classic love drama.

I know she was in an international film (American production) called "Taxi" I think by Mark Rydell or Gus van Sant or so.

Much of her also by me appreciated "rebel honesty" was on display in a Thelma and Louise-like film, hitchhiking and robbing and murdering - the basics. The one after that huge succes "37°2" and of which I wonderded the name was.

'A Woman's Revenge' is a must see - Beatrice Dalle and Isabelle Huppert together on screen. Finding it is another issue. Also check out 'The Blackout' with Matthew Modine and Dennis Hopper.
