  • one word. Mesothelioma.

  • it was haunted?

  • My husband's cousin was one of the last babies born in that hospital in August of 85. He still has the t-shirt to prove it for those of you said different.

  • omg.. did you see that ghosgt at 1:28? that was scary.. and theres no way i could walk around that hospital with the music playing in the background.. it would just freak me out...

  • Nice video but the sound effects and skeletons were a little annoying.

  • I think that's very cool. They made an entertaining little film and probably some of the last footage before it was torn down. My sisters and all of our kids were born there...and many relatives DIED there. I wish I had been brave enough to go inside at night! McFarland Cemetary at night is enough to scare the bejezzus out of me, LOL! I like the door closing shots, real or not!

  • My dad was born there in 1962.

  • my bro born there in '80

  • I've heard about this place. Always wanted to go, but never knew where it was or how to get inside....I'm from London so I know it's close!

  • you fail considering that place was full of asbestos and it is now probably all up in your lungs tearing them apart slowly.

  • I was born there in '82

  • my great grandpa helped build that.

  • I was born in '55 and my niece was born '86... so it wasn 't abandoned in '84.

  • I WAS BORN THERE 1960

  • this vid is too long nothing kool has happend yet boring

  • lol something else thats funny I grew up with Jason Earls. His name is spray painted on the wall. Thats funny.

  • Hey yeah I remember the big model train set. Did it have glass surrounding it? I cut my arm open real bad when I was 3 and I remember going up a long ramp near the entrance to the e.r. am I right?

  • When you were either in the hospital or visiting, you would go to the stairway to smoke. I just remembered that when I saw them in the stairway.

    Question........ ???????????

IF it was haunted? Where are the haunts now? Just curious, there are a LOT of homes around there.

  • I was born here in '55. Eerie isn't it... :)

  • Is this hospital still up? I heard they were going to tear it down and make apartments out of it, does anyone know?

  • Sorry the patient is the one on the right.

  • At 0:57 there is a patient walking into to a room in their gown. The patient is the one on the left.

  • Anyone remember the old model train setup?

Its a shame what happened to the place.

  • i was born in this hospital, and i hung out here when i was in high school, sum of my friends actually got into one of the body cabinets in the mourge, i got one thing to say, if u think this place is haunted u need to see a headshrinker, this aint nuthin but a neighborhood eyesore and a good place to get into trouble!! i kno the author/filmakers brother too, hes pretty cool, ghosthunters, lol!!!!

  • they destroyed it it is now dust

  • wow i have family born there but i was probably born at the new one =1996

  • You actually have some pretty good editing and filmography (sic) going for you there. I was somewhat impressed.

    When was this made?

    When was it torn down?

Sorry if these were answered elsewhere, just too lazy to scroll through.

  • You no balled pussies. I've been through every inch of that place in daytime and in the middle of the night and I"ve never had any doors slammed on me. Also it wasn't operational in 85-86 so neither of those people were born there. I was in 1981.

  • This is Shane Lawless (the editor of this footage). I was at first somwhat irrated at your message because I clearly stated in my info that the hospital was open from 1951 to 1984 - then I noticed a couple of the earlier comments that indeed say they were born there in '85 & '86! So nevermind on that part! I say this was interesting & before they tore it down - since myself & all 4 of my siblings were born there - I'm glad it was filmed! On the "spirits" - I say judge for yourself!

  • @killjoysux calm down its just for fun dammit

  • How could u be born there? youd have 2 be like really old!

  • Ohh, haha, good times.. Hid from Police driveby checks in that place.. been on the roof several times.. almost fell in a hole the first time.. Good Times. But guys that know what I'm talking about.. that place is GONE! its fuckin gone, there was a basement but the hill it was on is now level, everyone who has been inside before or lived around it and such should deffinatly go look where it was.. its amazing how level that place is now.

  • Hey I was born in 1986 in that hospital, .......RIP MOM

  • I was born in that hospital. 1985. I'm sad they tore it down and I hear that lights are still appearing even though it's gone.

  • that's my great grandfather's hospital dumbass!

  • you're a complete dumbass

  • this is neat-o.

  • i was born in corbin 48yrs ago

  • where are you guys from?

  • hahaha in a part of this the garfitti on the wall says huff daddy. lol. i know who that is. unless there are two guys in corbin w/ the nick name huff daddy..but i think not

  • puh~lease! been there, done that. the corbin hospital is old news. you guys shouldn't have even video taped it. it's boring. sorry to say but it's the truth.

  • hey shane, i shouldnt have put it the way i did .i have never believed in ghost and have spent the night in every cemetary in and around corbin as that was where me and my friends went to smoke and drink back in the early 70s many nights in devils creek where the birdman lived i know u must have heard of him.never seen or heard anything spooky in my life of 52 yrs now.we used to take a believer with us now and then and scare them up a little.please accept my apologies .

  • No problem! Many people don't believe in ghosts/spirits & many people do - since there have been many claims of spirits there - the friend of mine asked to borrow my camera & this is what he filmed! I then edited the footage - all in fun! I say it was only done for entertainment & everyone can take it as they wish! No hard feelings here - but thanks for the apology - you're a stand up guy!

  • i had my hernia surgery in that hospital when i was 14 years old in 1968, serviced the vending machines later when i was in my twenties.my mom, brother and sister still live in corbin and i'v never heard anything about any ghost or boogerwomen being in there .i think someone is full of crap....

  • Someone may be full of crap - however it isn't me! There have been "ghost chasers" from all over the nation that have reported paranormal activities from there. As for me - I don't know if it was true or not - but since all 5 of us siblings were born there - it was something I am glad was video taped before they finally tore it down! Many believe - many don't - I say - decide for yourself what you want to believe! It's all good!!

  • haha last year me and some friends went there everyday after school and hung out on the roof! needless to say our lawn chairs are among the wreckage..

  • shane, yourra fag lol... this is blankenship, whats good?

  • wrong shane, my bad... but anways man, tha hospital is about gone now...

  • im glad they tore it down, place gives me the creeps, lol

  • wonder what they'll put there now.

  • I went there back when I was in high school and when we walked in the batteries went dead on our flash lights that we had just bought. Went out to the car for more batteries and we went back in and the batteries died again. All new equipment died, so needless to say it was pretty creepy.

  • back in 94 I heard it had a pool of blood in the basement, and piles of bird crap.

  • ive heard its haunted but have you actually experencied anything in there cause its an old building of course people will think its haunted but hospitals arent usually haunted

  • They have tried to tare it down for the last twenty years or so - but something continues to happen & it doesn't hapen! It has gone through several owners also! One owner was missing for several years!!

  • It cost a lot of money to tear it down , but they got a grant so , its history now

  • I thought they tore that building down.

  • that turd in the shitter was haunted
