Boycott aside, local community credit unions are far superior to national banks. Better interest rates, less fees, people-oriented as opposed to policy-obsessed.

@JuBrew It is the lack of policy that got the country into shit in the first place. Using the bank is a service, and it only makes sense that you pay for that service. What is the problem with people in the States? They don't want to pay for ANYTHING.

@InglebertHumperdink1 I definitely have paid my credit union plenty in fees and interest on my car, the credit card I've had with them since college, etc.. I simply said I have been happier with my credit union as opposed to a bank. Is there something wrong with a business model that offers competitive services at competitive rates? Or should I just fork out my money to the first bank I see when I walk down my street, no matter how absurd their rates or terrible their service?

The portion of America that only watches TV news will only get an ugly spin on protests because Corporations own the network and cable channels.
