No more than in the first 10 eps of Inuyasha. In that show for at least the first 10 eps, there was quite a bit of fan service in like 8 or 9 of the 10 eps. Get out and learn a little about the world of anime.

And by the way that is why in spite of the fact I have downloaded tons of anime eps of Gundam Wing (no fan survice), and Sailor Moon (some fan service), I only have one ep of Inuyasha (tons of fan service). It was the first episode I came accross that had no fanservice. So I kept it and deleted the rest.

With strike witches EVERY ep was to epic to throw away. So I used Windows Movie Maker to edit out the "fan service".

And I forgot to mention about the Motion Suits (skin tight pilot suits) in Sky Girls. Nothing wrong there at all. The pilots in Evangelion (which is a VERY popular anime) have skin tight suits called Entry Plug Suits. And ALL of the pilots in that anime are 14. In Sky Girls, the ages of the 3 main characters are 14, 15, and 16. So they have a HIGHER average age than the Evangelion pilots. So don't complain about Sky Girls suits if you don't first complain about Evangelion suits.

And one last word on fan service. I personally don't like it, because it distracts from the action and plot of the show. If I'm watching anime online, then I just ignore the fan service. If I downloaded the video through bittorent, then I take the video file and edit it in Windows Movie Maker and take out the fan service. I even did such an edit in a hentai once to keep all non-hentai scenes. That edit made an X-rated show into PG-13 (and that only for the fight scenes). Could be G with no fight

Well lets just say after editing Strike Witches (all 13 episodes) I had just enough material to be 2 hours long (small enough file size to burn to one DVD like an ordinary movie). I call it Strike Witches, The Short Version.

Only one true H anime. All the rest were regular animes that still needed censoring.

The one H anime was V.G. Neo. And it censored quite nicely. But it didn't go as well when I tried censoring Bible Black. I couldn't keep the plot intact if I censored everything I needed to. So I just gave up and deleted it. The only part of my work that survives from that edit was one battle scene NOT involving any H crap. It's on Veoh now. Ironically it was flagged as 18+ by an admin. WHY?!

Yeah, some moron got the admin there to flag my video, EVEN AFTER I went through that scene very carefully in Windows Movie Maker to remove every swear word they said.

Normally I don't go to the effort to remove swearing like "damn" or "hell". But they were using the very bad words like "slut" and "bitch" in this scene.

Anime is animation, and animation is a form of art, just like painting. You wouldn't expect a Leonardo Da Vinci painting to look like a Picasso painting, So you shouldn't expect an anime character design from one character designer to look like the character design from a different anime character designer. You must appreciate the art from each artist as that artist's work. Don't say "it should look like this other guy's art, 'cause his is more accurate to the character's age". That's just dumb.

And while American cartoons have styles that vary quite widely (like X-Men compared to Elmer Fud), Japanese animes have styles that are very similar to each other. But their are differences. For example in Evangelion the 3 main characters are 14 and actually look 14. But in Strike Witches and Sky Girls they look several years below their age. The only difference is that one character designer worked on Evangelion but a different character designer worked on Strike Witches and Sky Girls.

In fact, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gundam Seed (which is pretty popular too) have fan service in their openings, which means at the beginning of EVERY episode they have some fan service.

Now on to appearances. In Strike Witches and Sky Girls, the characters ages look like 9 to 14. But do you realize the are actually from 12 to 20 in Strike Witches, and 14 to 16 in Sky Girls.

Notice a pattern? Well both animes have the same character designer.

Do you realize that in 2 of the more popular animes, Inuyasha and Neon Genesis Evangelion, ALMOST EVERY episode has at least one scene of fan service.
