This thing is seriously overpriced. Get the LG Prime Go Phone for only $99 dollars and be happy with it. Don't blow your money on this thing. The go phone does the same thing and would be great if you can live without the mobile tv.

the impression had a keyboard, AMOLED screen, looked faster

but the mythic had a headphone jack, little better camera with auto focus and flash, and if you want data, it had a facebook and myspace "widget"

The texting is great on this thing. It takes a couple days to get used to the way this phone operates but once you do its a great phone.

Its not an IPhone so stop comparing it to an IPhone. So if you dont want to spend $1200 a year on an Iphone voice and data package this phone is a great choice.

If you want an Iphone go get a Droid

i enjoy the texting on the phone a lot it only takes a couple of minutes to get used to (thats just for me) but i just dislike it because you have to apply more pressure on the keys than you would think

@LiLNeWyOrKaH you cant change the settings because there are two types of screens i know of. Capacitive touch screens which are very sensitive to fingers and resistive touch screens which need a certain amount of pressure for the screen to go to work. So you cant change the settings because the screen is fixed

I got my mythic free because they have that deal when you get a data phone (iPhone, blackberry) you can get up to 4 messaging phones free. So I love it. The texting takes getting use to but i really do love my phone. The memory is really great without a memory card:) holds 500 messages

But they do have CV still on this samsung, so if you have unlimited data you can see full episodes of CSI, videos, MTV.. and anything you can find on the web that would be free on a computer..

lets look at the math people:

IPhone 3GS w/ 2yr-contract $199.99

Monthly services

Cheapest voice plan: $39.99

Required data plan: $30

Total = 69.99 / month x 24months = $1,679.76

Add cost of IPhone and thats a total of $1,879.75 factor misc fees and some overages and lets call it around $2,000!!!

I would agree that the fees should be lower, but I have to say cell "phones" do a bit more than they used to. Now the things replace invoicing paper work as well as track spending. They also back your info up with a simple sync. I rarely need my laptop. The charges are tax deductible if you have a business. All in all, the cell phones of today do so much more, its hard to just call them "phones". That said, it would be nice not to spend $220 per month for 4 phones. Spendy toys - Cheap assistant.

ok i have a question :P the samsung mythic comes with a "get to know" cd which allows you to sync music to it as well. WELL when i try to search for the device on the music thing on the cd it says its not connected even when the usb is connect 2 the comp and the phone. AND my phone says USB not available and it turns bluetooth on to sync and i have no idea how to do that...can u help me out? thanks a lot :)

i would recommend the samsung solstice for at&t it's free with a 2 year contract and the only problem that i have heard about it is there is an echo with the speakerphone but not all the phones have that problem
