My whole life I had to be tough. My father was in 9/11, we moved to PA. I grew up being strong independent girl. The one you would find playing in the woods with the boys. On the quads, riding through the woods. Out on the snow trails from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nothing was more important to me then my overalls and my sneakers. Hair up, no make-up. Natural from head to toe. Now I'm older, almost 17, this describes me.
I spent the majority of my years growin' up in a small town in Maine named Limestone. If you've never heard of it I ain't surprised, look it up on Google maps. Bout 600 people total in the town and this song sure is me. My friends and I would be workin' in the fields durin' harvest and tearin' up some back roads in our off time. Didn't get anything if you didn't work for it. We sure as hell have always been the tomboy tough ones and we love it! :)

this song describes me so much because when i was young all i wanted was to be girly like the other girls, i used to pretend i liked pop when all i listened to was country and i used to pretend hunting was gross when i went with my dad since i was 3 and i used to wear skirts instead of the jeans i wore outside of school then when i hit middle school i realized i wasn't happy and became who i am today and i might not have found a boy friend yet because of what i am like but atleast i am myself!
