Manipulated? Children love their parents and mimic what they do. You dont have to manipulate anything. It is who you BE in this world that creates change. BE caring, BE generous, BE loving and in turn you will lead your children by your actions to follow the same path.
Yes, usually from what we have learned form our parents. The key is to break the cycle and create it differently. The future lies in our children and how they are in the world depends on us.
Well, maybe that is part of it but it is not a schools responsability to raise our children and far too many people think it is. Schools are created to eeducate our children. Parents need to take more responsability in the examples they set.
parents send their children to skool cos they have no choice,schools teach us how to compete with one another make us worry about the precious thing called life
You do have choices. There is homeschooling, there is the Waldorf Schools,as well as other schools with curriculums that do not teach "competition." When a person thinks they have no choice then they become a victim to their circumstances. "Competition" is not a bad thing, how one deals with competition is once again, the parents responsibility.
in my way of thinking we are all one, what sense wud it be for one to feel better than another!? competition has lead into politics and everything now so, In my way of thinking to me! competition isnt going to be good
competetion, when done respectfully allows people to strive to be better, makes people work harder to accomplish goals. I agree in the idea of us all being "one" but as you can see, some people have no desire other than to live in a ditch where I have a drive to make a life more than that. If you "feel" good living ina ditch, great. Society has us "compete" to atain greater things. I dont see that as a "bad" thing
sorry society has made slaves out of us, do you really think we are only sposed to live only up to 60 70 years?
if so why the hell!!! are we wasting our precious lives doing what we dispise, we are taught to live somone elses dream, and we are now cloned, everybody copying everyone! sheep! poisend drinks, brainwashing machines, people! and all this, if society is to atain greater things, then why hasnt people changed and are so unhappy?, money, no freewill, i dunno you tell me
I am sorry you CHOOSE to do what you despise. People who believe they are slaves to society are simply choosing to be victims to their circumstances. I dont live anyones dreams but my own and I am no sheep People dont change because they choose not to. I am sorry you are so miserable but please dont speak for me because I am not these people you are talking about. Your life is your choice...Choose differently if you are unhappy.

Just so you all know...I am working with some High School kids who are doing a documentary around child abuse to get college scholarships and am offering this clip to them to use. I am with all of you...VERY powerful!!
