  • it's like the original one nothing changed and the quality of the instrumental is good but on the voice isn't so good

  • Great work...can you specify what groove template was used?

  • @seanoregan it's actually another one! :>

  • Amazing!

  • i cant give you my opinion on production value and quality through this ( hard to say if the mix is good ), but nice sequencing and well put together. I would liek to hear the actual "production mix" though.

  • I'd Say Yes But REALLY It All Matters What Drums U Use, How U Use'em & What Effects U Add, It Can REALLY Knock.

  • this sounds exactly the same as the original props man.

  • yeah ,ut it´s a REMAKE not a REMIX!

  • no one said it was a remix?

  • NO!!! blind?

  • this is a Danja beat dont get it twisted.

  • is this software as good as or better than Nuendo 3?

i am just learning and i am having a hard time getting the hang of it. the tutorials and help file given along with Nuendo 3 does not help at all..

anyway, thats some gr8 remake man...

i just think that in the keyboard u are missing one note... i might be wrong but i think its Am, C, G and D i m not sure...

sorry if i am wrong my broduh...

    peace

  • its the best one i think!

  • Nuendo is a very good software 2 but Cubase is more used for Music Production only. Nuendo is Steinbergs "Pro Tools" And is made for more multiple audios tasks like Sound tracks for movies etc But of course you can use it to make songs too

  • Yeah... Cubes better and easer to learn

  • I guess it must be a big secret then, huh?

  • So if you don't mind me asking, what was the groove template after all? I know it wasn't the akai, then what my brotha? Was it in Cubase or you had to get it from another source?

YOU did a great job of the remake.

  • Thankx DFGorman! It´s not from cubase, it´s another source =) One of the threads beneath are very close to, where to find the template =)

  • Wow, very impressive. I couldn't quite hear you...what was the name of the initial instrument?

  • I guess it´s an OUD

  • damn good stuff, keep up the good work :)

  • Thankx Man =)

  • what synth does timbaland use?

  • KORG triton i think... probably VSTs now though

  • Actually he uses a Yamaha Motif-ES7.

I've seen him use an ASR too. He has every drum machine ever made, so i think he has plenty of keyboards. He doesn't use stock sounds anymore, though.

  • this is damn good...i dont kno why this doesnt have more views

  • Thanx =)

  • i think it's the topic of the video...if it was: Timbaland: what goes around comes around cubase remake....it would be having too much views by now

  • how do you copy and paste the vox stuff

like if i wanted to go hey now and have now go after the first

i want to put it on a new track becausei double all my vox and i want the echoed one to have pan 100 percent on each side

how do i copy and paste 2 tracks same word

  • "Duplicate track" is the key

  • Also, please could you explain how you created the delay on the vocals..

If I am correct, did you use the original track, add an insert delay effect, then split the track and mute the words you didnt want?

    Thanks

  • Yeahh, That´s how I did it exept for what you said about the delay. A Delay should ALWAYS be used as a send-FX not an InsertFx since the digital plugins works much better in "100% wet" mode. The other plugins are The Plugsound Series and COMPLETE from Best Service. Drum samples= Secret ;)

  • Please could you explain how to use it as a sendFX instead of an insert? Thanks for the reply though :) - and where do you get your "secret" drum samples :P you can PM me if you like :D

  • K, first of all do you run Cubase or logic?

  • Cubase :)

  • Please could you indicate where I can find the plugins you used (Especially that complete one)

  • did u sample the intro from the real song..or wat sound r u usin??

  • Yepp The intro is the first bar from the original song. It´s an Oud or perhaps a Banjo

  • yeah i think this is pretty close... good job by digging the right sounds also...

  • very good job!!!!

  • wow very nice... im just learning how to use cubase.. you did a sweet job on the remake!
